Prayer for Shingles
Dear Heavenly Father,
The shingles virus is taking over Lena’s body. We are taking authority over this sickness in Jesus’ name.
Lord, give Lena the wisdom to follow the instructions that her doctor recommends for this condition. Give Lena the tenacity to continue on taking care of herself to the best of her ability and knowledge. We give all things that we cannot handle or take care of to you—the God who heals.
Lord, calm the nerves that are irritated and inflamed in Jesus’ name. Soothe the nerve roots and the skin that has developed a rash. Dry up the blisters and let the scabs fall off and let the pain that remains be silenced and stopped in Jesus’ name.
May the lymph nodes—release the swelling and inflammation and return to their normal healthy condition right now.
May rashes blisters, pain, and needle-like sensations in the name of Jesus be gone and remove all evidence of your presence on Lena’s body right now.
Lord, protect the heart of Lena and give her patience to allow the healing to take root.
Lord, increase Lena’s level of faith to be exactly where it needs to be for this healing to be complete in Jesus’ name.
Amen.

I’m truly sorry for everything she’s going through. I sincerely hope and pray that her affliction was be healed, without complication, pain or delay, and that she may find the courage, peace and strength in the love of Christ to suffer her affliction and offer it up for the salvation of the world. I ask for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Lena’s guardian angel, and Blessed Mother Theresa. God bless.
Under thy compassion we take refuge, Theotokos; do not disregard our prayers in the midst of tribulation, but deliver us from danger, O Only Pure, Only Blessed One.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Prayer for a Miracle
God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Lena R. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Lena R’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for the sick members of our community and for all who are in need. Amid mental and physical suffering may they find consolation in your healing presence. Show your mercy as you close wounds, cure illness, make broken bodies whole and free downcast spirits. May these special people find lasting health and deliverance, and so join us in thanking you for all your gifts. We ask this through the Lord Jesus who healed those who believed. Amen.
**O My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are in most need of Thy mercy.

Prayer to St. Luke:
Most charming and saintly Physician, you were animated by the heavenly Spirit of love. In faithfully detailing the humanity of Jesus, you also showed His divinity and His genuine compassion for all human beings. Inspire our physicians with your professionalism and with the divine compassion for their patients. Enable them to cure the ills of both body and spirit that afflict so many in our day.
