My daughter Clare was born Monday and is truly the most joyful thing the Lord has ever given me. Sadly, her small intestine was mostly necrotic and had to be removed. Praise God that enough has been saved that she can make a full recovery. She is in Texas Children’s Hospital in the Texas Medical Center so she has the best care available, but my heart is heavy with worry for her. Please pray to the Lord that her recovery would be speedy and full.

I just want to thank you all for your prayers. She is doing very well today. They have not yet reattached all her organs. They are letting them heal and become more resilient for reattachment at a later time. Modern surgery is truly a miracle. Please continue to pray that everything goes the way the doctors desire so that we can eventually see a full recovery. God bless you all.
 
Oh what a beautiful name. I will say a rosary for her tonight and ask that she make a full recovery God willing. Must be so frightening and stressful for you. God bless you
