Please pray for little Rashid Rullah

I just came upon an article about an 18 month old boy who was rushed to hospital - his dad was on the phone and his 5 year old sister had got hold of dad’s air rifle and shot little Rashid in the head with it! We hear of this stuff happening in America, but when it happens here in the UK it’s a bit of a shock. Please don’t take this as an affront to the United States (the tragedy is how immune we have become to American gun crime) or as an attempt to claim the UK has no problems (we are fast becoming de-sensitized to knife crime here), but as a total gut reaction to a hideous accident.

Please pray for Rashid, I’m asking the holy innocents to pray for him also.

Father I entreat You to save this child from a future of knowing she killed her brother or seriously injured him. Please give the little boy recovery. I ask this in Jesus’ name.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen
 
With a heavy heart I update this with news that Rashid passed away this week. Thank you for your prayers so far. Please continue to pray for him and his family.

Eternal rest unto thee, O’ Lord.
 
Jesus please take care of this family, the parents, and Rashid’s sister. Grant healing Jesus. And please ensure that parents don’t leave weapons around where children can get hold of them. Please help both father and daughter to overcome their guilt, and any blame.
 
Lord, I pray for this family that has suffered this tragedy. I pray for the repose of the soul of little Rashid. I pray that his sister will not suffer mentally from this and that his parents have the strength to deal with this tragedy. In Jesus name I pray. Mother Mary, please pray for these intentions.

Healing Father, please provide healing to this young boy and his family. Please strengthen them all so that they may come through this accident together. We ask this in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. AMEN
