Please Pray for Luke

PAM,praying for Luke,please let us know how he’s doing,and how you are,you have such faith I’m sure you are trusting JESUS.

Please pray for my son Luke this morning. We are headed to his doctor. He developed a very rapid heartbeat last night (140)and is having palpitations. He is nine years old, and has never had heart problems. This all occured while he was resting.

Luke is adopted and I know that his older sibling also had heart problems and has had 3 surgeries. So he has a genetic risk factor. Please PRAY.

This can be so scary; my younger daughter and I have both experienced this and she had cardiac ablation last summer to correct the problem. We’re in Alabama, too (from the mention of Children’s Hospital, I am guessing you’re in B’ham? We’re in Mobile.) We have a superb electrocardiologist here, if you’re close to Mobile. PM me if you’d like.

In the meantime, we’re saying lots of prayers.

Hi everyone, and thank you all so much for the prayers you are offering up for my little fellow.

His heart rate remains to be tachycardic (too fast) running between 108 and 145. It is beating in the 120’s even when he is sleeping.

We have an apointment to see a cardiologist tomorrow afternoon.

In the meantime… Could you also include my husband Gary in your prayers? He developed chest pain last night and his blood pressure shot up to 206/104. He has never had a problem with his blood pressure, so we now have an appointment for him to see a cardiologist tool

I’m mentally exhausted…please pray for me too.
 
Oh I’m so sorry Pam,GOD is really testing you,but you’re so strong in your faith,and trust,you have a special gift, to get you through this,praying for Luke and your husband may they receive healing quickly,will be praying with out ceasing

Pam, I just returned from a Holy Hour dedicated to Luke and your whole family. I continue to pray for all of you. Lord, hear our prayer! Amen.
 
First, let me thank all of you for your prayers.

I spoke with the cardiologist and peditrician today. Luke does have a heart defect from birth, however, this is not the cause of his current rapid heart rate. This defect should be something he will out grow.

They did a lot of blood work today and are going to check him for hyperthyroidism, diabeties, and underlying infections.

These three sometimes go hand in hand. Luke fits the profile for hyperthyroidism (Graves Disease) He has had a long history of different physical and mental complications.

Please continue to pray for him that he get the proper diagnosis and treatment. We will deal with what ever God gives us. We are so blessed to have this little angel!
 
Will be praying for Luke and your husband daily…and the whole family…

Father, please keep watch over this faithful family in their need. Guide Luke and Gary’s doctors to causes and solutions for their current health issues, and if You would carry Pam so her burden doesn’t seem so heavy I know she will continue to sing Your praises. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen
