Please join me in prayers for M, a teenage girl who was fatally shot.

Prayer for Victims of Violent Death

Lord our God, You are always faithful and quick to show mercy.
M was violently taken from us. Come swiftly to her aid, have
mercy on her, and comfort her family and friends by the power
and protection of the Cross. I make this intention this through
Christ our Lord, Who lives and reigns with you and the Holy
Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Rest in Peace

Eternal rest grant unto M, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon her.

And may the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Prayer to the Blessed Mother in a Time of Bereavement

O sweet mother Mary, you knew the sadness
of mourning those your heart loved most:
Jesus, your Son, and Joseph, your devoted spouse.
Please pray for all affected in this time of loss.
Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

A moment in time is all there is between life and death. She blinked and died. Evil goes over the earth, looking for the ruination of souls. It found one, in the shooter. Now, Father, is the aftermath of a young life gone from her family. DEATH, where is your victory. Death, where is your sting?
The angel sat in the Tomb. When Mary rushes in, alert and fearful, looking for our Savior, he said,”Why do you look for the living amongst the dead?” Jesus lives!
Because of what Jesus did, M lives, too. Her journeys complete. She waits for us, when our time comes.
