Please pray for M

He is an acquaintance of mine whose fiance left him for another guy. She left her child in the apartment they were sharing for nearly two weeks after she dumped him, until a friend of his took the child back to her parents. Since then, M. has began to abuse prescription drugs and at times he seems suicidal. He has been hospitalized once after overdosing, and he refused to get treatment for his addiction. He finally admitted that he needs to get help, but since he didn’t accept treatment before he left the hospital he had been having a hard time getting into any kind of treatement.

Please pray that he will find healing in the pain he feels, that he will be able to find treatment for his addiction, and that he will manage to stay away from any substances and avoid harming himself until he is able to get the treatment he needs.

May God Bless, help, strengthen & protect M.
 
Lord Jesus, you are our Good Shepherd. Please care for this lamb, M., who has lost his way and lost faith in You. May this period of sorrow and sadness be turned to joy and laughter that he may soon see Your Face and Glorify Your Name. We ask that you will bless your daughter Lisa with the grace to be a source of Your Love and Hope for M. Help her to share Your message with M, and help M to be open to healing and forgiveness of his fiancee. We know that these things can only happen through You and we offer up these petitions with sincere faith. Bless your child, M.

St. Joseph, pray for us.
St. Mary Magdelene, pray for us.
St. Timothy, pray for us.
St. Jude, pray for us.
St. Thomas, pray for us.
All the angels and all the saints, pray for us.

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name please send Your Spirit into this man’s life, and into the life of this child. Help him to overcome his problems and to begin to value himself at his true worth in You. Give him wisdom and sufficient self-love to bring him to accept treatment and to gain healing. Help him to overcome his griefs and scars. Please grant our prayers for this man.
