*Dearest Family,
The Cardiologist & Hematologist don’t feel I need a filter for clots yet(thank you for the suggestion, Julia). To remain on bloodthinner for life. Congestive Failure is under control at present with 2-3 doses per day of diuretic. Ran out of insurance coverage for physical therapy(after Cardiac Rehab), won’t be able to start that until July.Am having problems with solid food. Solids sit in my upper esophagus much longer than in normal non-diabetic person. This can be painful and am quite nauseated feeling as though the food will soon be regurgitated. Had a nuclear isotope study of gastric emptying which proved there are delays. Will have a Cardiac Stress Test on Thursday to see if it is safe to do an endoscopy/colonoscopy. Due to the results of the gastric emptying study the GI Dr feels that I need Botox injections in the too tight neck of my stomach. This would be done during the endoscopy to relax the neck of stomach thereby allowing solids to pass through and be digested in a more timely fashion. The delay in digestion also affects blood sugar levels making them very difficult to control.Fatigue remains. Somewhat short of breath.
I apologize for not updating sooner. I tire easily.
Thank you all for your constant prayers. God bless you all!! You all are in my prayers.
Will try to update sooner.
Love,
