Please pray for man who committed suicide

A friend told me this evening of a man who committed suicide this past week. His body was found by his thirteen year old daughter.

I don’t even know this man’s name or his religious beliefs (if any), but please keep his eternal soul, and especially his family in your prayers. His little girl is going to need the support of our loving prayers as she deals with this. May God use this time to draw this family into knowing His loving and merciful embrace.

St. Joseph, pray for them.

Jesus please help this poor child to overcome the horror and betrayal of her Dad’s suicide. Please help her to recover and to flourish despite everything.
Please have mercy on his soul in whatever desperation or depression caused him to throw away his life, and to leave his family subject to self-criticism and irreversible loss.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

Praying for he repose of his soul and for his poor daughter to be able to overcome this!
