Please pray for me and my best friend

It has been a few weeks since I first requested prayers for me and my best friend and I am so grateful for all of the prayers you have so generously offered. Nothing has changed in my situation and my friend is still not speaking to me, I have tried contacting him and he continues to ignore me. I have asked for his forgiveness many times and I have been taking the necessary steps to resolve the situation that caused the original problem so that it will never happen again but he won’t give me another chance. I miss his friendship so much and even though I know that I am extremely blessed in so many areas of my life and I am very grateful and thankful for those blessings I am also filled with a pure sadness at the loss of his friendship. I would like to ask you all to please continue to pray for us and our friendship. I don’t know very much about formal prayers and formal ways of praying because I usually just pray by talking to God so any advice and prayers will be very appreciated. Thank you all very much
 
Lord, please help cinster to know that mental prayer and praying from the heart is the best way to pray to you. May she not use formulas unless she feels the need to. May he/she also know that praying the Rosary is essential and most powerful, as our Lady asks us to pray it daily and assures us of its power. Lord, may cinster pray this short prayer to our holy Mother Mary whenever he/she is in need: Mother Mary, make your intentions in the matter come true. That way he/she will be assured of the best outcome, because Mother Mary’s intentions are always guaranteed to be the best. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer.
 
Give him more time. Just because it looks like things have ended doesn’t mean they have. Forgiveness sometimes is a process.

I’ve prayed that God guides both you and your friend back to a peaceful relationship.

I pray that your friend is able to see the light of forgiveness and I pray that you will be forgiven for your sins as you atone for them. May you not walk this dark path again and may the Holy Spirit fill the void that has been left by your sin. God bless.

Lord when we continually implore others, especially regarding resuming relationship, this can tend to drive further away those who have already decided that they really don’t want us in their lives.That is only just, as we all have a right to choose our friends.
If some unrelated person has found their inner emotional connection to us has been broken and their experience or judgement tells us that this is the wise and preferred course, then they certainly have the right to that decision. They should be respectful and courteous, but if we persist, they may well, sadly, become exasperated. In fact, the persistence itself can make them more convinced that they want to maintain distance from us.

Lord help us to put excess emotion aside to realize, in any case, that if the person is unforgiving they are not someone we wisely wish to marry or trust with our friendship. Better to discover such a serious flaw and cause of unhappiness in a person before marriage so that we can escape years of unhappiness. It is easy for them to be nice, fun, kind, when things are easy. It’s when things go wrong that we find the other person doesn’t actually love us, more love themselves. Help us to be wise and not fall into the trap of only remembering the happy times which were partially illusory as things turn out

Please help us when we find ourselves in such a situation, Lord. Help us to accept the other’s decision, indeed to respect it and their right to make it, just as we have the right ourselves to withdraw from a relationship if something teaches us it is wise.

Please help this person who is suffering over loss of a friendship and help her to respect the other person’s decision, honoring their God-given free will.
Please heal this sad heart and help her to move past what is not past, into a new, happy future.

Please help this sad person to be wise and to move on. She has done her best to restore the friendship, without success. Help her to put her emotional energy to finding a happier future. Please use her many prayers, and ours for her, for her true benefit in Your sight, according to Your holy Will for her
 
Dear Cinster, I don’t think this is the thread I found before, when I looked for your prayer request. Anyway, I just want you to know I am still praying for you. I ask God and His saints to turn your friend’s heart and thoughts towards you so that he may speak to you again.

I am not understanding about the actual problem between you and your friend. Good and true friend is like a diamond in your life that’s providing support for solving your life’s problems. I pray to god this problem would soon solve.
