Hello,
I am in need of prayer but I feel like I am all by myself and no one is praying for me… my parish priest is always busy and I feel uneasy to book an appointment to talk to him…
Could you please pray for me? I have several things on my mind.
  1. I have many wounds and hurts from the past, and while I try to ignore the thoughts I have tendency to think that I am not loved by other people. I know Jesus loves me dearly and so are my parents, but I also want to be loved by other people around me. I am a sinner and I am not asking God to make me become centre of attention, but could you please pray for me that I can experience more love from other people? Or if not, that I can be just content with the love that I get from God and my own parents?
  2. My mom has something growing in her lung, and that worries me. Could you please pray for my mom that her lung can be healed and also the grace of her conversion so that she can come back to the Catholic faith and recognize the true God?
  3. I have a big question on my mind about myself and unfortunately no one will be able to answer my question with 100% certainty. Could you please pray for me that Jesus will make the answer clear to me?
Thank you,

Dear Jesus, I pray on behalf of catholic0913 who has several important intentions (listed above). Can you please send them your Holy Spirit to provide healing and conversion for their mother, and to let them feel Your love and be less lonely, and also to answer the question they have about themself. Jesus, you know our needs and our loneliness so well, I have confidence and trust that you can take care of these things and bless catholic0913 and their family and also help catholic0913 to feel less alone. In Your name I humbly ask this. Amen.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Please pray for the OP’s intentions.
St. Joseph, Please pray for the OP’s intentions.
St. Bernadine of Siena, Please pray for the OP’s intentions.
St. Padre Pio, Please pray for the OP’s intentions.

Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions (stated above), but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Tagging this intention for my Rosary intentions later. God bless you and your mother and family.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.

My Lord Jesus, lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of thy mercy.

Our Father…Hail Mary x10

Hail Mary,
Full of grace,

**Saint Mary Magdalene,
woman of many sins, who by conversion
became the beloved of Jesus,
thank you for your witness
that Jesus forgives
through the miracle of love.

You, who already possess eternal happiness
in His glorious presence,
please intercede for me, so that some day
I may share in the same everlasting joy.

Amen.**

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (catholic0913 and her family). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into catholic0913 and her family’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (catholic0913 and her family), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Prayer to Our Lady of Mental Peace

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon catholic0913 and her family in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.
Our Lady of Mental Peace,
  • Pray for us!
    Amen.
Jesus, Help Me!

In every need let me come to You with humble trust,
saying:
Jesus, help me!
In all my doubts, perplexities, and temptations:
Jesus, help me!
In hours of loneliness, weariness and trials:
Jesus, help me!
In the failure of my plans and hopes, in disappointments,
troubles and sorrows:
Jesus, help me!
When others fail me, and Your Grace alone can assist me:
Jesus, help me!
When I throw myself on Your tender Love as Savior:
Jesus, help me!
When my heart is cast down by failure, at seeing no good
come from my efforts:
Jesus, help me!
When I feel impatient, and my cross irritates me:
Jesus, help me!
When I am ill, and my head and hands cannot work and
I am lonely:
Jesus, help me!

Always, always, in spite of weakness, falls and short-
comings of every kind:
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, help me and never forsake me!

Amen

Dear Jesus,

I humbly implore you to grant your special graces to our family. May our home be the shrine of peace, purity, love, labor and faith. I beg you, dear Jesus, to protect and bless all of us, absent and present, living and dead.

O Mary,

Loving Mother of Jesus, and our Mother, pray to Jesus for our family, for all the families of the world, to guard the cradle of the newborn, the schools of the young and their vocations.

Blessed Saint Joseph,

holy guardian of Jesus and Mary, assist us by your prayers in all necessities of life. Ask of Jesus that special grace which he granted to you, to watch over our home at the pillow of the sick and the dying, so that with Mary and with you, Heaven may find our family unbroken in the sacred Heart of Jesus.

Amen.

May the Lord make you feel loved and answer your questions. May He also heal your mother. I pray it in Christ’s name, Amen.

You are not alone in your feelings or hopes.
In other words you have a lot of company. God made us, and one of the most healthy things is wanting to love and be loved. Keep searching for that in healthy and Christian ways as you are now.

Extra prayers for your mom and any health care professionals who may be helping her.

Thank you,
Something vital to remember is that prayer and relationships are give & take, rather than expecting people and God to give you the experiences of being loved and cared for by others and God. Just like a friendship requires both people to help each other out in good & bad times, so too are relationships and our prayer lives the same. God knows & loves us more than we truly know & love ourselves, which means that He knows & already has a perfect agenda planned to draw you closer to love & serving Him thru the love & service of others… let Him touch your life in unexpected ways by trusting & being open to His Way, Truth, & Life.

According to your concern with #1, I have previously experienced that for many years until now. Gradually thru the grace & mercy of God and much praying, Jesus revealed to me thru music (since that touches my soul deeply) that I am already loved no matter what people think of me. The KLOVE song I kept hearing on the radio 6 times in one week was: “You Are Loved” by Stars Go Dim (check out the lyric YouTube video)… at the time I couldn’t fathom why God kept sharing this song with me almost every time I put KLOVE on, but now I understand that that was what I truly needed at those desperate times in my life when I had nowhere else to turn to. I still listen to this song sometimes to remind myself again & again where my life is at. In time, you will experience much consolation while at times also desolation since life has its ups & downs, but it is in those moments when we feel empty, unloved, & uncared for that He is actually presently present in our lives always. I’ve learned to include Him in all my thoughts, worries, & actions because He always finds a way to love and care for me tenderly and gently the way He already has been loving & caring for you, whether you see it (metaphorically) or not. Sometimes we don’t actually need to physically see the results of our faith journeys improving because sometimes God prefers an unexpected yet well-thoughtful way of healing our wounds no matter the cost. Currently for me, God has revealed the KLOVE radio song: “Oh my soul” by Casting Crowns many times in one week- here we go again- perhaps because it takes many wakeup calls to actually wake me up to listen, be submissive to God’s Will than my own, & live selflessly for others to be a living example of Christ’s love that captivates my soul & can captivate others’ souls deeper too. However Christ speaks to you within your prayer relationship with Him, such as thru reading, Mass, music, films, etc. find Him deeper, seek Him deeper, & learn to love Him deeper and you will experience His tender love and being provided for in more ways than one. Pray for guidance & grace to sustain you with Christ presently with you and trust in His providence. In reality, it doesn’t matter what people think of us. Make sure that those people you are seeking validation from aren’t toxic people because that’s already dead end relationships that won’t help you become deeper who God made you to be. Immerse yourself into a faith community, such as within your parish, by participating in church activities and chances are you will find like-minded people who will be supportive along your faith journey as hopefully you are to them (as a give & take relationship/friendship must be for it to grow in faith, hope, & love). Above all, develop a deep prayer life with God at the center of your life to practice Christ presently with us in each present moment, especially since that’s all we really have: the present moment. The past is gone & the future is out of our hands- all we can do is pray, trust, & cling to God above all else. Again, He knows & loves us more than we truly know & love ourselves. Let His glory prevail.

My dear patron Fathers, please pray for this intention.

St. Joseph, please intercede.

Praying for all your intentions, dear one.

Prayer to St. Henry II

Dear St. Henry, we humbly and urgently ask for your prayers on this, your feast day. As the ruler of the Holy Roman Empire, you chose to be a good and gracious leader. You ministered to the poor, listened to your people’s pleadings, administered justice, and followed God’s will for your reign. Although many of us will never have the kind of authority you did, we could all use your prudence in leading our own small corner of society- in our places of work, in our families, in our parish communities. St. Henry, I place before you today all the intentions posted on this forum. Please pray and intercede for each and every one. Help us to pray and discern the will of God as you did, and to be living examples of Christ in our interactions with people this day. Thank you for hearing my prayer, St. Henry, and do not cease commending us to God. Amen.

St. Henry II, pray for us!

My Lord Jesus, lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of thy mercy.

Our Father…Hail Mary x10
Glory Be…Fatima Prayer
Amen!

Divine Mercy Chaplet

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
