Please Pray for Me: Crippling Back/Neck Pain

I am here humbly asking prayer for myself. For the past week I have experienced the worst back/neck pain ever in my life. I am 26 years old. I am not sure what happened but it feels like a nerve in my back is being crushed. I woke up at 4:30am today in agonizing pain. I had to have my wife push/pull me up because the pain was too much to bear when I tried to get out of bed. This is by far the most uncomfortable and worst enduring pain I have ever experienced.

Please pray that God will help me endure this pain and that I can offer it up for the souls in purgatory and the lost souls here on earth.

Lord your child el esclavo de cristo is in agony with his back and neck . Lord heal him of this neck - back pain problem . Lord lead him to a chiropractor and a neurosurgeon to be seen for a diagnosis . Dear esclavo decristo , I suggest you go to a chiropractor or a neurosurgeon or a neurologist as soon as possible to be examined . It may be a crushed herniated disk . Lord your child el esclavo de cristo is in agony with his back and neck . Lord heal him of this neck - back pain problem . Lord lead him to a chiropractor and a neurosurgeon to be seen for a diagnosis . Thanks John. I was hoping to avoid going to the franchised “Patient First” as that seems to be the only resort on Saturdays. I called my wife’s doctor’s office (open 9 to 12 on sat) and they wouldn’t take me because I’m not a patient (I have procrastinated and put off going to the doctor until the pain is unbearable).

God is good and I know this pain is redemptive. I’m going to leave now for the ‘chain franchise’ doctor office :).

Thank you everyone for your prayers. Just an update: I went to the doctor and had x-rays taken. According to Doctor my back and nerves look good. His guess is that I did something to aggravate the muscles in my back which caused inflammation which has put pressure on the nerves causing me pain! He prescribed muscle relaxer and pain killer for me. I hope they work :).

Once again, thanks for your prayers. If I feel this bad over something so small I can’t imagine how much physical pain Christ felt/feels from the cross.

EsclavoDeCristo, I would still get a second opinion…Chiropractor! I, too, had excruciating pain in my back and had an x-ray taken and my Dr. said that there wasn’t anything bad that they could find…arthritis, scoliosis…the report didn’t have any sublaxations noted. Whenever I would tell my Dr. that I have severe pain that keeps me awake at night, she would just blow it off like it was nothing. I went to the Chiropractor and he found a sublaxation…actually, from what he could see, it was an old injury. It was pressing on the nerves in my back and the pain would shoot down my leg, into my foot. The best thing I ever did was go to that Chiropractor! X-rays, depending on the view that is shot will not always show these things. Think about it! God bless you. I will pray for your healing.

Thank you so much! I appreciate your advice and prayers. God is good! If the pain does not subside, I will check with a chiropractor.

Sorry to read of your extreme pain. I hope that your Doctor is correct and that it is only something temporary. Hope too that the musle relaxant and pain killers will work and elimate the worst of what you are enduring. Will be keeping you in prayer that you will soon be back on your feet as well as ever…
 
I am not a physician , but I think you have a herniated disk in your lower neck or upper back .But I am experienced and knowledgeable . You decribed the symptoms of a herniation . So please do follow up with a neurosurgeon , chiropractor , orthopedist etc . Lord heal esclavo de cristo and lead him to the correct path to take regarding his injury . Lord heal him totally and give him full motion of his neck and back . Thanks for healing my brother in Christ esclavo de cristo, inthe name of Jesus, amen . your brother in Christ, John

Thanks for all of your prayers. The pain diminished by about 90% yesterday (my birthday) unexplained and unexpected after persisting for over a week.

I went for an initial consult with the chiropractor today and am going back tomorrow to nail down a game plan.

God is good!🙂
