Please pray for me!! I have been disabled for the past two years. I am at the point of total hopelessness. If you are interested in reading my story you can at this link. If not just pray that God changes my circumstances.

Howie, you are certainly in my prayers. I’ll pass along your weblink if ever I see a way someone can send you some help. Till then, I am praying for you.

Howie you are in my prayers! Financially I am pretty much in the same boat you are so I can be of no help there but I will pray for you.

You are in my prayers and I know God will prevail!!! Keep up the faith!!

Thank you for the prayers. You will also be in my prayers as well.

Thank you. I know that eventually something will break. I’m just waiting for the dark clouds to pass. Thanks for your encouragement.

In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you . . .
I’m praying for you. Please don’t give up. God can still do great things through you and your prayers.

More than ever I find myself in the hands of God.
This is what I have wanted all my life from my youth.
But now there is a difference, the initiative is entirely with God.
It is indeed a profound spiritual experience
to know and feel myself so totally in God’s hands.

Just wanted to let you all know that since I asked everyone to pray for me things have gotten 10x worse. The good thing about it is that I know that the devil is running scared. I have always believed that the devil and his demons go nuts when God is about to break someone free from their works. Thank you to all of you who have been praying for me.

Sounds like you need a “Spiritual 911” as suggested by Fr. Corapi:

NOTE: All prayer is centered on Jesus Christ. Know
with absolute certainty that all that we give to Mary,
she takes to Jesus.
With great trust pray:
Memoraries. “Remember, o most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it
known that anyone who fled to Thy protection, implored Thy help, or
sought Thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I
fly unto thee, o Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To Thee do I come. Before Thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in Thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.”
Rosary. Pray 5 decades of the Rosary (Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, or
Luminous Mysteries. The choice is yours). Try to meditate well on the Mysteries, bringing them into your own life. Pray the prayers of the Our Father and Hail Mary with great love and trust. The prayer of the Rosary is the prayer of the Gospel. That is why it is so powerful. When we pray the Rosary, we are praying the Gospel. The Gospel or “Good News” is Jesus Christ: Infinite Power!
Chaplet of Divine Mercy. This is an age especially in need of God’s
mercy. Jesus gave this prayerful devotion, dedicated to His Infinite mercy,
to Saint Faustina. Once again, pray with trust, even if it hurts. Just do it! It
is not a feeling. It is a decision. An act of the will. The prayers “Eternal Father, I offer you the body and blood, soul and divinity, of your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world;” and “For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us, and on the whole world,” are filled with power. The ending prayer “Holy God, holy mighty One, holy immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world” call down Gods grace and mercy on us and all of our brothers and sisters.

It is funny… I have not really had a good cry in probably about 2 years. Things had gotten so bad this weekend after I had asked everyone to pray for me that I actually was crying like a baby. I could not stop. I am sure some of you know what I’m talking about. It is amazing how good you feel after a good cry. If any of you (especially men) avoid crying, I suggest you get alone some time and just let it out.

Howie - we are praying for you so that somehow some good can come from this trying situation. Do not be afraid or lonely. Many people have similar dire financial issues thrust upon them from illness or injury. Take care of yourself first (roof, lights, food). Everybody else can wait. You may want to try contacting Catholic Relief Services for some guidance or assistance. Good luck and God Bless.

I’m praying for you and I have a suggestion…focus focus focus on something else. Pull yourself out of this before your situation causes a depression…just because your goal is over doesn’t mean your life is: what is God’s goal? Put it in God’s hands. And expect God’s answer…not yours.

My fiancee told me once: God never says “no” when we ask for something. It’s either a “yes,” a “not yet,” or “I have a better idea.”

God bless you.

For all of those that prayed for me, thanks very much. Things finally turned out very good… better than I expected. I was offered a position where they will work with my disability. You no longer need to reply to this thread as there is nothing more to do now but thank the Blessed Trinity, Most Precious Mary and all the saints in heaven. I was a little worried there when things started to get worse but then blam! Everything is awesome now! 👍
