Please pray for me for mercy.
I’m 21 years old, and am experiencing apprehension. I sometimes have palpitations, and probably suffer from clinical depression or something like it.
I’m posting this not for a medical issue but because a have a strange feeling that I might die soon. Like from my heart stopping.
In my more depressed moments lately I often sin by praying for God to end my life (I have great trouble praying; I can’t concentrate, so most of my pray is during intense emotion pain), because I feel like the rest of my life will be painful, unfulfilling work and depression, which I might be able to suffer if I had a prayer life and could avoid mortal sin (masturbation and pornography). During these times I also feel a strong pain in my chest, like all the painful emotions are concentrated in my (broken) heart.
I feel like God might be answering my prayers. Please pray so that I overcome sloth, for my conversation, that He might absolve me of my mortal sins before my end, and for final perseverance for me, you, and everyone. Since I can’t bring myself to pray, please pray for me.
Thank you.
