I go today at 3:30pm (EST) for a mammogram and 4:30pm for a left breast ultrasound.

I have a sharp burning pain in my left breast. I am 39 years old.

I am so afraid of breast cancer…
Lord, help me!
My children need me…
Help me, Jesus.

Praying that you will be alright and that you don’t have cancer …

Jesus I ask You to be with our friend at this time she is so afraid and needs Your love to surround her and comfort her. Please spare her from cancer and grant her good health Amen

A Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we know that there is but one thing impossible to You: to be without pity for those who are in suffering or distress. Look down on us, we beg of You and grant us the grace which we humbly and earnestly implore, through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother to whom You confided us as her children, and whose prayers are all powerful with You. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy upon me, a sinner.

Our Father who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us of our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

***“Prayer for the restoration of health”

O Sacred Heart of Jesus, I come to ask You for the gift of restored health
that I may serve You more faithfully and love You more sincerely. I want to
be well if it Your will and redounds to Your glory.
If on the other hand it is Your will that my sickness continue, I want to bear
it with patience. If in Your Divine Wisdom I am to be restored to health and
strength, I will strive to show my gratitude by a constant and faithful service
rendered to You, my loving Savior and Redeemer, and my God.
Amen.

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To thee do we cry poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up
our sighs mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy upon us, and after
this our exile. Show unto us the Blessed Fruit of thy Womb, Jesus.
O Clement, O LOving, O Sweet Virgin Mary.

Pray for us O Holy Mother of God,

That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.

Dear Lord embrace our sister in your love, reassure her of your providence and care. Provide the resources she needs to assess any medical needs, and the support she needs as a mother. Help her feel your love around her today as she moves through the day and makes the decisions necessary to evaluate and alliviate her pain. Amen

I know how scary this situation can be. I’ll be praying for you this afternoon, that all goes well, and that you have peace. God bless.

Lord, look upon me with eyes of mercy,
may Your healing hand rest upon me,
may Your lifegiving powers flow into every cell of my body
and into the depths of my soul,
cleansing, purifying, restoring me
to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom.

Amen.

May God see you safely through this trial and may He be with you always.

Hi Dove,
I too went through the cancer process for prostate. Will certainly keep you in my prayers. Please dear, just lift it up all up to God, and join me in asking our Heavenly Mother, to embrace you with her tenderness. Put your full trust in our Lord. Joseph.

Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick, We turn to you in this time of illness. O dearest Comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your holy will and know that whatsoever You do, You do for the love of us.

Amen.

St Zelie Martin, mother of St Therese of Lisieux, you suffered from breast cancer.
Please pray for our sister that all will be well,
for her family’s sake, and for her own.
Thank you St Zelie

Do not look forward to what may happen
tomorrow; the same everlasting Father who cares
for you today will take care of you tomorrow and
every day. Either He will shield you from suffering,
or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it.
Be at peace, then. Put aside all anxious thoughts and
imaginations, and say continually: “The Lord is my
strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in Him
and I am helped. He is not only with me but in me,
and I in Him.”

St. Francis de Sales

First let me offer a prayer for you:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for our sinners now and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Secondly let me offer you this, even if the Lord is offering you the cross of Cancer to carry, today this disease is much more manageable than it used to be. I remember when breast cancer was considered a death sentance, these days (based on experience with my mom’s breast cancer) it seems really routine. They didn’t even start her treatments for months, and she’s all cleared up now.

Be strong, and if you feel your strength failing cling to the strength of Christ.
