Hi justjuelz, how are you doing? Hope you’re feeling better.Hello all, I am new to this forum. I ask that someone please pray for me that this year I will meet and make good Christian friends. I feel very lonely and isolated in my relationships. This makes it harder for me to be a good practicing Catholic because I have no support or encouragement. I have lost a lot of my old friends due to my conversion and lifestyle changes. For example, I try to avoid bars/parties now because I do not drink. Thank you for the prayers. Things aren’t much better, I spent most days totally alone except for when my mom is around (I live with my mom). I am strangely used to it by now. I’m trying to make efforts to be involved more in different things but I haven’t really met anyone yet. It is mostly older married people at my church and young children. Maybe this is my penance.
