Please pray for me not to be evicted

I got a notice that I will be evicted. I am very afraid of being homeless. I’ve been trying to get out of this hideous money pit of an apartment for a long time, but I’ve had so little money that I couldn’t see any way to make a move, so I’ve been stuck.

Last week I was a little late with my rent, but they have not moved quickly enough in the past for me to be kicked out; this time they did. Even though I paid and they took the money, they still left a notice on my door and an appointment for me to go to court. Naturally, now that I have gotten a job that can actually pay my rent, it’s time to get kicked out.

Please pray that I escape this fate. Thank you.

Please find a lawyer. You have a lot of rights as a tenant and a lawyer can help you navigate the system. If money is tight, there are a lot of organizations that will provide legal aid to people in your situation. A lot of law firms will also represent you pro bono.

Please don’t walk into court unprepared. There are resources out there for you. Google is your friend. 🙂

Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (Pat Albertson), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. Praying for you! I’m NOT sure where you reside but if you live in the USA I would get in touch with Legal Help in your area (there should be an agency that provides FREE noncriminal legal help in your area.) They should be able to help you with dealing with eviction proceedings. Make sure you respond within the appropriate time frame so you don’t lose your rights. Here in Massachusetts you have two weeks to respond it might be shorter or longer where you live! I will be in adoration before the Blessed Sacrament tomorrow morning 8-9 AM and will be praying for you.

Once again, CAF Prayer Warriors have, with the help of God, the angels, and the saints, succeeded in getting the answer to my prayers.

There is a lawyer on the side of the landlords who still wants several hundred dollars for cancelling the court date, but that is a lot better than being evicted.
