I have been having regular thoughts of suicide for years, but the past few months have been especially bad. I made plans and even bought supplies, but that was about 3 months ago. I have been seeing a therapist for over a year now.

Some days I feel like I can’t go on.
My prayer life has been almost non-existent. I have given in to temptation numerous times and despair frequently. My depression has left me feeling unable to do anything, and I find it very difficult to deal with human interaction. I stay inside almost all the time and have little contact with people other than my family. I couldn’t even bare to look at online forums until recently or look at anything related to people in general.

I believe the Lord is giving me strength in simply asking for prayers. Please pray for me and my family as well. God bless.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name,
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

dear Heavenly Father

in Jesus Name I bring Virga to you,
Asking for a breakthrough in her life,
It is not your will that anyone perish (Holy Scripture)
Please let this be made so real to her, that you have
plans to prosper her and to give her hope and a future. (Holy Scripture)

May your precious daughter be made aware of your goodness and
kindness,. toward her,…
that you said in the Holy Scripture,
"If she confessed her sin, you are faithful and just, to forgive
her her sin, and to cleanse her from all unrighteousness.

Angels of God, sent to minister to and for those inheriting salvation,…
"Fight for Virga, in Jesus name, we ask this,…

Holy Almighty God we ask that angels of mercy to sent to cross Virga;s path, to encourage
support and help her.

Now in the name of Jesus Christ we bind darkness that is coming against her, and
we command it to leave her now, you must leave her now.

Father pls send help to your daughter, Virga.
We agree and call her blessed, helped, llifted up, and healed, in faith believing you have heard us, and if you have heard us, we trust for your answers, Lord, according to your promises, which are yes and amen.

may this son of David, written thousands of years ago in Praise of our God,
trustfully lift you, as you pray a blessing on our lovely heavenly Father,
with this song.

youtube.com/watch?v=j6tM-DQmREk

Praising God fights in the spiritual realm,.
I know you probably don’t feel like it,now,…
but do what you can to even pray or sing in your heart
with this song,…
David knew that Praise Drives back the Enemy
You have some spiritual enemies ganging up on
your thoughts,…interjecting their ideas
Resist the devil and he will run away from you, Virga,…

Bless the Lord o my soul
Worship His holy name,
Sing like never before,.
Worship His Holy Name,…

Sub Tuum Praesidium, Memorare and prayer to Saint Michael offered for your protection.
May you find strength in our Lord. May Saint Therese join in prayer for you and may you find signs of God’s love in everyday life and activities. Amen.

Virga: I beg you to call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline as soon as possible. In the U.S., call 1-800-273-8255. Follow whatever advice they give you.

In the meantime … I offer this prayer.
Prayer of St. Dymphna

Lord, our God, you graciously chose St. Dymphna as patroness of those afflicted with mental, emotional, and nervous disorders. She is thus an inspiration and a symbol of charity to the thousands who ask her intercession.

Please grant, Lord, through the prayers of this pure youthful martyr, relief and consolation to all suffering such trials, and especially those for whom we pray.

We beg you, Lord, to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna on our behalf. Grant all those for whom we pray patience in their sufferings and resignation to your divine will.

Please fill them with hope, and grant them the relief and cure they so desire.
We ask this through Christ our Lord who suffered agony in the garden. Amen.

My heart and prayers go out to you. Your life is precious, even though you may not always feel that way. Don’t lose hope. And when you overcome your difficulties, you’ll look back and you’ll be grateful that you took the right steps. God bless you!

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Virga,

You are a precious, singular and beautiful soul and you have never been nor never will be again. You were born for beauty, grace and wonder and you have much to do in this world.

Praying can be hard sometimes; especially when you have yet to learn how to ‘turn down’ the chatter and noise in your troubled mind. If you cannot (yet) speak from your heart; slowly, carefully and meditatively recite the Our Father and Hail Mary, painting a detailed picture in your mind with each line. In time; this will become easy and your mind and heart will be quiet once this is done.

God doesn’t need beautiful prayers; only sincere ones. If all you can do is cry hot tears and say ‘please help me’, he will bring you every comfort you need. Go somewhere private and cry those healing tears.

My son struggled very hard with suicide last year and, in the midst of this, I learned how to really pray. His view of himself was so wildly different from that of everyone around him, and he was so determined to end his life, that I felt there was little hope. He was over 18, so I was unable to compel him to do anything but I prayed, prayed, prayed. He found a group of teens with similar struggles, came back to Mass and put his feet on the road back to his life.

If you feel in despair; call on God, on family and on friends. Call on your family here on CAF. Nobody will diminish your fears or turn you away. You were born for love and happiness; and the harsh struggles of this world does not change that.

Please be assured that you are in my heart and prayers, right beside my own son. Bless you Virga; may God’s love and grace be always with you. x

Saying prayers for you. May God give you peace and strengthen you in your struggles.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. Blessed Mother, let her rest in you. cradle her in the comfort of your arms.
hold her close, for she needs you and is suffering. please pray for her and ask that your Beloved Son send his boundless love and strength and graces apon her and her family. watch her through the dark night
untill the sun shines again in morning. amen

Praying for you, Virga, and entrusting you to Our Lord’s healing love, and to Our Blessed Mother’s loving care:

Merciful Jesus, we trust in You!
May You please grace Virga with an awareness
of Your love and Presence in her life,
and of how precious she is to You.

We take refuge under thy protection,
O holy Mother of God;
Despise not our prayers for Virga
in her necessities,
but ever deliver her from all dangers,
O glorious and blessed Virgin. Amen.

(Adapted from the Sub Tuum prayer to Our Lady.)

May God grant you the strength to persevere, and the understanding of His love and forgiveness of any transgressions.

Remember, oh Most Gracious Virgin Mary
That never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
Implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of Virgins, My Mother, to thee do I come,
Before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
Oh Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,
But in thy mercy, hear and answer me.
Amen.

May the love and peace of God be with you, even if you cannot feel it right now.

I will be praying for you too! There is always, always reason to hope even when the present moment seems dark. Please don’t despair and know that God loves you.
