Dear Friends in Christ:
A recent, minor incident has caused my anger
to flare. Please pray for me to let go and avoid
such occasions of sin in the future. Please offer
prayers only – no advice.

Prayer for Controlling My Anger

O Lord, must I fear Your wrath? Retribution is Yours
by right! May I never dishonor Your Divinity. May my
soul seek to maintain Your love. Shape my being
into earnest kindness, a reflection of Your perfection.
Grant me the grace of self-control, that I may not
display any anger. Should I have such an outburst,
remind me that anger is Yours alone to avenge.
Through Christ Our Lord, amen.

of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give

be always with her.
And, help her to bring this
same Peace into the lives
of others.
