I’m so sick, it takes too much energy to get out of bed, I’m nauseous and slightly dizzy, I have a chem final tomorrow, and I’m just struggling in general with a lot of things.
“Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Wounds of our Lord Jesus Christ to heal those of our souls.”
“My Jesus, pardon and mercy, through the merits of Thy Holy Wounds.”
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
I hate to ask this because so many need much more prayers, but can you please keep praying?
I’m really struggling. I know I’ll do well on these next two finals but I’m academically burned out (why I’m changing my major and minor, I realized what it was I really wanted to do, but I still need to do well in these classes). On top if it, I’m still really sick, I’m feeling abandoned by God (for many reasons), and I’m really struggling. To top it off, two of my best friends are going away to another continent and it’s going to be a long time before I hear from either of them and I want them to go but I’m really going to miss them at the same time.
I hate feeling this way! I hate being so sad and burnt out when so many in our world are suffering but I learned the hard way that denying feelings is hazardous to your health. I’m really nervous about going home, about my grades, about what I’m going to end up doing with my life. One of these best friends had walked me to my dorm last night and gave me a huge lecture about taking it slow (like he has all year) and he doesn’t get the fact that I’m TRYING and I’ve BEEN trying!!! I’ve taken breaks from everything, worked as hard as I can, just tried to enjoy moments, gone to counseling, prayed, everything. I just don’t know what else to do!!! I’m completely burned out
It’s tough at your age (I’m assuming 18 - 22, roughly) trying to figure everything out about life. But - it takes time. You learn things gradually and as the Lord puts people, places, situations in your path. He will help you figure things out! Remember - this world is not everything! Our real destination is heaven. I can tell you probably already know that. I don’t blame you for having mixed feelings about your friends leaving the country - I would too! Hang in there! Let the Holy Spirit guide you and don’t rush things. Everything will happen according to God’s perfect plan. REALLY! I’ll keep you in daily prayer, and God bless you and guide you!
Praying for you Sancta… Life can be a confusing journey… and to be honest, it only just “begins” after college.
I had no idea how much I’d grow AFTER figuring out what I “wanted to do with my life”… yeah, apparently I didn’t have it all figured out then.
Many prayers for you… take one day at a time, and know that this is not the end-all, be-all of your life. You have GREAT things ahead that you’ve never even dreamed up!
(((HUGS))) to you… take care of yourself physically too… get some rest and get over that illness… that can wear on you mentally and emotionally as well!
