Please pray for me!!

My name is Alejandra and I’m a single mother or three. I just lost the most important person to me. My grandmother passed away on 3-03-08. Since then I’ve been looking for a job, and I can’t find one. It’s very hard and feel hopeless, I started to go to church but I easily get discourage, I need a lot of prayer.

Alejandra, Do not lose hope. God loves you and your children and is with you. I am praying that God will bless you with the job you need and that he will comfort you in the loss of your grandmother. I am raising you up to our Lord in prayer right now and will pray for you at Mass. :crossrc:
 
Alejandra, I am sorry for the loss of your dear grandmother, and that things are so difficult. Please God you will find suitable work soon. I’m glad you’ve begun to go to church and that you have asked for prayers.
I will remember you and your three children in my prayers and daily Masses.

Holy Spirit, we ask you to descend upon Alejandra and
give her comfort and peace. Help her to have the strength
to get up and go to church with her children.
Bring that feeling of having a “special person” back into
her life and allow her to feel the presense of God.

Venetian nobility. Studied law in Padua, and was offered governing posts, but turned them down for a religious vocation. Ordained at age 36. In 1522, Cajetan founded a hospital in Venice for victims of incurable illness. Cajetan was aware of the need of reformation in the Church, and felt called to enter a religous community to serve the sick and poor. On 3 May 1524, with three others, including John Peter Caraffa who later became Pope Paul IV, he formed the Congregation of Clerks Regular (Theatines) at Rome with the mission of fostering the Church’s mission and reviving the spirit and zeal of the clergy. Founded a bank to help the poor and offer an alternative to usurers (loan sharks); it later became the Bank of Naples. Known for a gentle game he played with parishioners where he would bet prayers, rosaries or devotional candles on whether he would perform some service for them; he always did, and they always had to “pay” by saying the prayers.

Alejandra, in the condition I’ve been in, I’ve learned what a gift living really is. Now I know that doing the smallest things like going to the mail box, food shopping, etc. are all joyful experiences, if one can actually do them. Do not allow suffering to get the best of you, that is what happened to me and now I can’t even go food shopping without feeling extremely anxious. If you can go to church, please go 🙂 . I have not been able to make it to mass in months because of the panic attacks, and the meds. have been horrible on my health. Live in a state of joy, be free in a state of joy, because too much worrying and suffering can cripple your life. I look forward to the day, when I can sit peacefully and normally at mass again.
