It is very easy to ask Catholics to intercede on this special intention, rather than Christian in general. I know forum members are responsible.

I agree, just go. For some of us, the fear and shame and nervousness is all a natural part of the awareness that we are in sin, and the strength and peace comes after confession and absolution.

You can offer those feelings up as part of your penance, you know. :getholy:
