Thanks again for your prayers.
I almost got on here last night and asked for you to stop your prayers because I felt so unworthy of them all. But I stopped myself. I knew I needed the prayers.
If you could add to you prayer that I might be able to find a good spiritual director and/or have the opportunity to speak with my pastor, I would really appreciate it.

Maybe Cardinal Francis Nguyen might be a helpful read. I haven’t read him but I think that if anyone would understand hope despite loneliness it might be a man who lived in solitary confinement for 9 years. 
I hope to order his book on Amazon.com and read it as soon as possible along with other books such as Love and Responsibility and Jesus of Nazareth. I pray that you will find a spiritual director soon. Something helpful though is - I don’t have a spiritual director but I confessed some of my most severe temptations to my confessor as much as I was able - it greatly helped anyways!

**Humility is a virtue. Knowing you need prayers is not anything to feel bad about, even if it’s an ongoing need. Just think of it as an opportunity for others to grow in love of their neighbor through prayers, as well as an opportunity for you to grow further in humility and knowledge of yourself and God.
I hope and pray you find a good pastor soon. My time of spiritual direction was some of my most peaceful years ever. May you be blessed with the same.

Sometimes we need a shakeup! Reading onwillowbay’s troubles over the past many months, through to today, is one good way! But we all get down…it doesn’t take a whole lot for me to start feeling down on myself. It’s not easy, is it!
