Hi everyone, I’m struggling with addiction right now and I could really use some prayers to help me quit drinking.

Place you head upon His shoulder and you addiction will fade away. Whenever the urge to have a drink arises close your eyes and do this and Jesus will take away you pain.

Believe… Do Not Be Afraid.

Loving God,

We lift up the cause and petitions of our sister Jen who is struggling with destructive behavior that is not part of your divine plan for her life. Please give her strength and courage to cast out the alcohol problem from her life and help her to restore the trust and credibility with her family and be joined to them in love. Jen is a temple of your Holy Spirit, please send the comfort and loving warmth of your Holy Spirit to help her in these difficult times in her life. We offer the prayer of St. Patrick to comfort and strengthen our sister Jen as she endures this suffering and prayerfully takes the steps to change her life and respond to your unconditional love and mercy.

Prayer for God’s Protection and Christ’s Presence:
As I arise today, may the strength of God pilot me,
the power of God uphold me, the wisdom of God guide me.
May the eye of God look before me, the ear of God hear me,
the word of God speak for me.
May the hand of God protect me, the way of God lie before me,
the shield of God defend me, the host of God save me.
May Christ shield me today…
Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me,
Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ on my right, Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit, Christ when I stand,

I am praying for you Jen. You will need others to help you as well and we will pray.
Jesus be with Jen and help her in this struggle. Pick her up and help her walk one day at a time…even one hour at a time with your help and strength.
