I am battling and infection, it is causing a lot of pain. I took antibiotics and the infection got worse, I am really worried. please pray for healing. thank you!

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Prayers and Intercessions

Let us humbly call on the Lord Jesus Christ, who rescued us, his people, from our sins.

We pray to you, Christ, for your holy Church. You gave yourself up to sanctify her, washing her clean with the Word of life.
Renew your Church and bring her to purity through repentance.

Dear Rachel, I ask the Lord to help you to persevere with the antibiotics, which can take time to work, but if for some reason not, then I ask the Lord that your doctor will prescribe stonger remedy for you. I ask Him that you will receive relief and will heal soon.

I am so sorry Rachel. Please talk to your doctor and make sure you are on the RIGHT antibiotic. When I had a bad infection two years ago it took three different ones to find the right one.

Mighty Lord, you are the Creator of every cell in Rachel’s body. Please put right quickly whatever is out of balance and causing infection. Please bring a quick recovery. And Jesus, you are the Lord of her mind, heart and soul. Please comfort her in all those deep places and reassure her so that she knows that she knows that she knows that you are with her. Please give her restful sleep and an end to worry. We humbly petition you for these blessings. Amen.

Be sure to do just as your doctor instructs you and if you don’'t seem to improve call immediately. . I will also pray you get better. Be sure to take all the antibiotics and don’t miss any doses. Hope you feel better soon.

I appreciate all of your prayers thank you. I went to the doctor today and she thinks it may be a very serious disease but I will not know the results of the lab test until Monday or Tuesday. She gave me new medicines today and ordered me off work. I am really hoping these new medicines and some rest will help.

My prayers are with you, that you can rest in Jesus and His Mother serenely until it is time for the next step.
