Please pray for me

I need all the prayers I can get & I pray everyday but this Monday, September 21, 2009
I will be taking my State Board exam for Practical Nursing.

If I don’t pass this exam I will loose my job as a GPN (Graduate Practical Nurse) & I won’t be able to re test till I can afford to pay for the re-exam fee.

It took me months to prepare for this exam & I believe in my heart that I can do this but I suffer from test anxiety like so many other students.

I did find this prayer on line & I started saying it tonight.

I pray it works…

If you find time in your busy schedule please say a prayer for me.

O great St. Joseph of Cupertino who while on earth did obtain from God the grace to be asked at your examination only the questions you knew, obtain for me a like favour in the examination for which i am now preparing.

In return I promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked through Christ our

Lord.
St. Joseph of Cupertino, pray for me.
O Holy Ghost enlighten me
Our Lady of Good Studies pray for me
Sacred Head of Jesus, Seat of divine wisdom, enlighten me. Amen.

One thing that helped me in college is looking at tests as a measurement of how well they taught,not how good of a student I was.:DI will be praying for you.

I’d like to thank all of you for you kind words & prayers.

I took my boards today at noon & I will not find out if I passed them until Tuesday
the earliest.

But, It felt so good to know that not only my family & friends were praying for me but I
also had a few “angels” right here on line that were kind enough to keep me in their prayers today.

I pray & say the rosary every day & I was raised that way. When I found this website it
looked familiar but I have a different computer so I am not sure if it’s the same site
that I used to say the rosary on line where I would pray for people that needed help while saying the rosary.

I will have to find out from my cousin if she knows the name of the program we used sine it would pop up every day when we would start up our computer.

I thought it was a great way to start off our day & also remind us that their were people out there that needed us & how good we had it some days when we thought we were having a bad day.

I hope I can find that program & if it is the same website I will feel better knowing I paid it forward years ago…

Thank you again for everything & I hope to be able to someday pray for you as well.

I know I am new on this forum but, if I am correct I am not new on this website. I just don’t use my cousins sign in name, since I don’t know what she uses.

Bernadette, you can also join the CAF Rosary Group. We have an ongoing rosary there and lots of info on this powerful devotion.
 
Lord, I pray that Bernadette did well on her exam. I pray she has a successful career in nursing serving you in the sick, the young and the elderly. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.

I found out yesterday, September 23, 2009 that I passed my State Boards in Pa.

I am now officially a nurse:)

I was already working as a nurse with my Temp. Permit & now I will be able to
keep my job & continue to work in a field that I truly believe I was born to do.

I feel so blessed to have the support from my family, friends & the very kind
people on this website who prayed for me this past week.

Thank you so much for all of your kind thoughts & prayers.

Lord, You are the Source of all Life,
all Truth, and all Beauty,
I pray to You today, with all my heart,
for my intelligence, this light in me,
this plant which demands years and years of care,
this thing in me, mysterious and moving,
this activity which sometimes bounds up, sometimes slows down,
which sometimes lifts me up with enthusiasm
and sometimes exasperates me,
I pray for this thing which runs after ideas, symbols and numbers,
this thing which all of a sudden has penetrated inside the thought of another
and melds with it like the fusion of two lights
a fusion which bring about warmth and light.
I pray to You for my mind as You are the Supreme Intelligence which penetrates,
illuminates, and embraces all our intelligences.
Lord, help make my intelligence amenable to all truths,
