Please pray for me!!!!

Can you all please pray for me? I have a second job interview with the daycare that I had a job offer from and missed the call back period for (I was on a trip and they knew this). The woman I interviewed with called yesterday, but I was really, really nervous about it and needed to pray about it because I have already signed up for school on February 8th. Today, I got another call so I took this as a sign that God was in charge of this and I needed to act. I called back and I’m going in to talk to the interviewer again at 10:30am. I’m most likely starting tomorrow. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE say some prayers for me. I am REALLY nervous about this because I haven’t worked in almost 3 years (since March 2007). I’m trying my best to be calm about this and breathe. God is in control. :eek::bounce::whacky::bowdown2:🍿

I went to the second interview and learned that I am not the only one interviewing for the position. However, I feel good about this because I placed it in God’s hands and know He won’t let me down. I said a few Hail Mary prayers this morning and prayed that she’d intercede for me. If I don’t get the job, I will be upset, but I have a back-up plan with school and volunteering at Catholic Charities. 🙂
 
You might want to add a St. Michael prayer to this, too. I just learned an hour ago that my training certificates were never entered on the new certification system and it’s a requirement that they are on there. My interviewer called me to say that although she is interested in me, she has to wait until my certificates show up before she can hire me. 😦 She is faxing the certificates to the main office branch and it will take 7-10 business days before they will be entered in. Someone else could be hired before then since she relisted the job listing on Craigslist.

Plus, I cannot take the other 5 hour course I need because the links are not working on the website for training. I’ve tried on 2 separate computers.

I think satan is trying to stop me. Lord, protect me and give me strength! 😦
 
Ok, out of this ordeal, I got another phone call today from a nursing home to be a certified nursing assistant!!! :extrahappy: I have an interview at 11am tomorrow. It seems that a lot of places are lifting their hiring freezes. YIPEE!!! Please pray that all goes well. If I have a choice between the two, I’d choose the nursing assistant job. 😛

I forgot to post on here about the other interview yesterday. It went well! Considering everything goes well with the background and reference check, I will hear from them next week. It’s better pay, better hours, and a better location than the daycare (closer to my house), so I’m praying I get it. Plus, I’m more passionate about medical stuff than childcare. I trust the Lord will provide according to my needs and desires. 😃 Thank you all for your prayers! Please continue to pray for me that, one way or another, I am employed next week! 🙂

Thank you for all your support and prayers. I checked online a few minutes ago to see if my transcript had been updated for the childcare job, and it has. I could call later today and tell them that, but I’m hesitant to because I want to hear about the CNA job first. If I call the daycare and tell them, it will “seal the deal” and I would really like to wait. Please pray that I’m making a good decision. Otherwise, I pray God will let me know through my conscience. Thank you again and God bless.

God will steer in you in the right direction. We may think something is actually better for
us at the time, but if we just let God handle it, we will be better for it in the long run. I
learned that the hard way. Still praying for you and just listen, you will get your answer.

Thank you all for your prayers. I plan to give the nursing home a call on Monday to see what the status of my background check is. The HR rep gave me her card and told me to call anytime. I have a really good feeling about this.

I should also hear from the daycare this week. 🙂
