I seem to be at a very vulnerable and dark time right now. Being a Catholic is hard, and even more difficult when you have certain addictions. It feels like the devil sees that I’m vulnerable and is pouncing on me at this time of weakness. I’ve been having thoughts of what it would be like to no longer be a Catholic. This is not what I want in my heart but the thoughts have crossed my mind.

Please pray with me that I make it through this extremely difficult time.

I too am having a difficult time in my life but I am not going to loose my faith no matter what. I will pray for you and I could use your prayers also. We all have to have faith and stick together.

We all have difficulties in life and we must remember that because we live in the flesh, we will sometimes fail to avoid sins and temptations. I will pray for you both that you are guided by the Holy Spirit during these hard times and that you stay the path. twk

Hear us, Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God, and graciously send your holy angel from heaven to watch over, to cherish, to protect, to abide with, and to defend all who suffer especially for damooster, Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Loving God our human inclinations tempt us sometimes, especially when we’re bored, sad, and tired; and the hard realities of life sometimes numb or stress and overwhelm us.
In these vulnerable periods, please keep us resolute and good;
and please help us, with continued efforts to make right choices, to continue to lay down patterns in our brains that help us to avoid sin or doubt.
Please flood Your blessings, and inspire practical wisdom, and useful activity to those who are tempted.

I am going through some temptations too, fell down too.
I intend to confess these sins.

I thank our Lord Jesus for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Praying for you.
Please pray for me too.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

O my Redeemer,
will that dreadful time ever come,
when but few Christians shall be left
who are inspired by the spirit of faith,
that time when Thine anger shall be provoked
and Thy protection shall be take away from us?
Have our vices and our evil lives
irrevocably moved Thy justice to take vengeance,
perhaps this very day, upon Thy children?
O Thou, the beginning and end of our faith,
we conjure Thee,
in the bitterness of our contrite and humbled hearts,
not to suffer the fair light of faith
to be extinguished in us.
Remember Thy mercies of old,
turn Thine eyes in mercy upon the vineyard
planted by Thine own right hand,
and watered by the sweat of the Apostles,
by the precious blood of countless Martyrs
and by the tears of so many sincere penitents,
and made fruitful by the prayers
of so many Confessors and innocent Virgins.
O divine Mediator,
look upon those zealous souls
who raise their hearts to Thee
and pray ceaselessly
for the maintenance of that most precious gift of Thine,
the true faith.
We beseech Thee,
O God of justice,
to hold back the decree of our rejection,
and to turn away Thine eyes from our vices
and regard instead the adorable Blood
shed upon the Cross,
which purchased our salvation
and daily intercedes for us upon our altars.
Ah, keep us safe in the true Catholic and Roman faith.
Let sickness afflict us,
vexations waste us,
misfortunes overwhelm us!
But preserve in us Thy holy faith;
for if we are rich with this precious gift,
we shall gladly endure every sorrow,
and nothing shall ever be able to change our happiness.
On the other hand,
without this great treasure of faith,
our unhappiness would be unspeakable and without limit!
O good Jesus, author of our faith,
preserve it untainted within us;
keep us safe in the bark of Peter,
faithful and obedient to his successor
and Thy Vicar here on earth,
that so the unity of Holy Church may be maintained,
holiness fostered,
the Holy See protected in freedom,
and the Church universal extended
to the benefit of souls.
O Jesus, author of our faith,
humble and convert the enemies of Thy Church;
grant true peace
and concord to all Christian kings and princes
and to all believers;
strengthen and preserve us in Thy holy service,
so that we may live in Thee and die in Thee.
O Jesus, author of our faith,
let me live for Thee and die for Thee.
Amen

A Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we know that there is but one thing impossible to You: to be without pity for those who are in suffering or distress. Look down on us, we beg of You and grant us the grace which we humbly and earnestly implore, through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother to whom You confided us as her children, and whose prayers are all powerful with You. Amen.

It is hard to keep faith in hard times. I am there also.
Let us pray for each other to the Holy Spirit through Mary Most Merciful.
It is three o’clock here now and am going to say the Chaplet of Divine Mercy
for the Suffering Church Militant.

Be at peace

Dear damooster

Take heart friend that we are only human and as such living our faith can be very challenging and really hard .

God is with you always whether you turn away from Him or not because He loves us so much .

Don’t be so hard on yourself 'cos the Lord isn’t !!!

Try to be strong and not turn away from your faith .

God bless

Prayer for Gods Guidance
Father in Heaven,
You made me Your child
and called me to walk in the Light of Christ.
Free me from darkness
and keep me in the Light of Your Truth.
The Light of Jesus has scattered
the darkness of hatred and sin.
Called to that Light,
I ask for Your guidance.
Form my life in Your Truth,
my heart in Your Love.
Through the Holy Eucharist,
give me the power of Your Grace
that I may walk in the Light of Jesus
and serve Him faithfully.
Please Lord guide damooster and grant him strength to overcome
Amen

Lord Jesus,You said,
“I have come to set the captives free.”
We are captive and need Your healing touch.
Free us, Lord, from our addictions,
so that we will be:
…free from the cares and worries that stifle our happiness;
…free from sins that cling to us, and to which we cling;
…free from all compulsive behavior
that prevents us from becoming what You, Lord,
have planned for us.
Bring us, loving Savior,
to the experience of abundant life
which You promised.
Amen

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen
