I would like to ask for your prayers.

I have suffered with anxiety and depression for a great many years, ever since I was a child. Recently, the anxiety has returned and filled my heart and mind with anxious and unwanted thoughts that plague me constantly.

Please pray that God may heal me and bring peace to my heart and mind.

With thanks,
MGS

**Jesus taught us;

"He said to them, “Why are you afraid? Have you no faith?” (MK 4:40)

Put your trust in Jesus Christ, our Lord & Savior & not in yourself or anything of this world!

Thank you both to St. Gabriel and Mark77 for your prayers and encouragement.

The truly debilitating aspect of the fears and doubts caused by anxiety disorder is that they can undermine even one’s faith. I have been praying constantly not only to be healed but to truly trust in God’s will, however, thus far my prayers have not been fully answered.

I hope that with the help of your prayers, I will find healing and trust in God.

I will pray for you and ask the Heavenly Father to ease your mind.

Lord, please allow this faithful member of your fold to experience the love and awesome healing from Your hand. Please illuminate the right path and let everyone understand that they are never truly alone. Peace of mind and spirit can be the most precious thing if it is lacking, Lord. I ask this is the name of your most precious son, Jesus.

**I have a mild form of Schizophrenia and have suffered many years from
depression, anxiety and paranoia. I have a good Doctor now and most of
it is controlled with medication. I found a solid pray life helps a lot.
I WILL PRAY FOR YOU!

Thank you Trinity and Dan, your prayers mean a lot.

May God bless you and all those who pray for others on this forum.

Hi MGS,

I have hope and faith that you will find comfort and rest. If you have been struggling for a long time, I do recommend seeking medical and spiritual guidance. Modern psychiatry and psychotherapy do have a lot to offer…DanWelshiMac mentioned how helpful his doctor has been, thank God! 🙂

And yes, a prayerful life can help bring things into perspective.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

You are celebrated, St. Dymphna, for your goodness to others. Both in your lifetime, and even more in the ages since, you have again and again demonstrated your concern for those who are mentally disturbed or emotionally troubled. Kindly secure for us, then, some measure of your own serene love, and ask our Lord to give us a share in His life and boundless charity. Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
