I’ve been struggling with sins of lust (pornography and masturbation) and I’m going tomorrow to Confession/Reconciliation. Please pray for me so that God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ can give me the strength to break away from this sin.

:signofcross:

Praying for you.Our Father,
who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

A prayer for you:

Prayer of Saint Claude de la Colombiere - A Despair Prayer.
Lord, I am in this world to show Your mercy to others.
Other people will glorify You
by making visible the power of Your grace
by their fidelity and constancy to You.
For my part I will glorify You
by making known how good You are to sinners,
that Your mercy is boundless
and that no sinner no matter how great his offences
should have reason to despair of pardon.
If I have grievously offended You, My Redeemer,
let me not offend You even more
by thinking that You are not kind enough to pardon Me.

Amen.

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary,
that never was it known,
that anyone who fled to your protection,
implored your help, or sought your intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence,
though burdened by my sins,
I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To you I come, before you I stand,
sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions, but in your mercy,
hear and answer me.
Amen.

I pray you had a good confession today. May you receive Holy Communion as frequently as possible and pray a lot to give you the strength you need to combat your addictions. May you go to the sacrament of confession whenever you fall into sin and receive the healing that comes from it. May you establish a good relationship with your confessor and meet with him regularly for help with your problems. CAF has an advertisement for you; look for it at the top or bottom of the home page. I think it comes and goes; just keep looking for it. Praying you center your life on Jesus and abandon yourself to his merciful love fully confident in his merciful love. Praying that you pray and pick up your Bible whenever the temptations of impurity come. Praying that you keep praying or reading until the temptations pass. Amen.

You are not alone, have faith and stay strong, you can persevere praying for you my friend.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. :yup:

May God be with you, and preserve you in the Faith.

Saying this prayer for you,

O MY GOD, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because I dread the loss of Heaven and the pains of Hell; but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all-good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen.

The grace of our Lord be with you,
Tim.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women and
blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Hail Mary conceived without sin.
Pray for us who have recourse to thee.

Entrusting you to Our Lord’s merciful love and to Our Lady’s motherly concern for your spiritual safety. Just keep praying and trust in them.

Jesus, King of Mercy. We trust in You.

We take refuge under thy protection, holy Mother of God; do not despise our prayers in time of necessity, but always free us from all dangers, o blessed and glorious Virgin. Amen.

PATER NOSTER,
qui es in caelis,
sanctificetur nomen tuum.
Adveniat regnum tuum.
Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra.
Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie,
et dimitte nobis debita nostra
sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.
Et ne nos inducas in tentationem,
sed libera nos a malo. Amen.

I failed. I’m sorry. Please, keep praying for me. I’m going to keep trying and I’m going to, when I can, go to confession again. But first, I’m going to stop this habit. Please keep praying. Thank you. 😊
