I’ve always had issues with depression and I feel myself falling into it again.

I’m desperately unhappy at my job and many other things. I’ve been trying to get a different job since I finished college in 2009 but to no avail.

I appreciate anyone who spares a prayer for me.

Praying for true Joy for you; an abundance of hope in your despair. And perseverance through your struggles. May God’s will be done in your life. Amen.

I will be praying for you and for you Jnumbers in Mass today.

And welcome to the forum btw Jnumbers.

May Almighty God who is the source of all joy and peace bless your lives with His Joy and Peace which surpass anything that this world has to offer. May he carry you both in His loving hands. May he give you both the graces and strengthes that you are in most need of to come to a closer unio with Him and His Church. May he help you both in your individual needs and discernment as to what His will is.

May the most just, the most lovable, and the Most High Will of God be done, be fulfilled, be praised, and exalted in all things forever. Amen.

O Christ Jesus,
when all is darkness
and we feel our weakness and helplessness,
give us the sense of Your presence,
Your love, and Your strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
in Your protecting love
and strengthening power,
so that nothing may frighten or worry us,
for, living close to You,
we shall see Your hand,
Your purpose, Your will through all things.
Amen!

I know what it feels like to dislike your job, crown of roses. I often tell myself that I should be happy just to have a job in this economy, but it’s hard to feel that way. I will pray for you that your intentions are brought before God and that your needs are met.

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
our Life, our Sweetness, and our Hope.
To Thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve.
To Thee do we send up our sighs mourning
and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious Advocate,
Thine Eyes of Mercy toward us,
and after this our exile show us the
Blessed Fruit of thy Womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for us O Holy Mother of God
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Will offer for your intentions the holy rosary tonight with my family. I’ve been there too.
Hang in there…I do believe in the power of prayer.

Thanks to everyone who has prayed, it means a lot.
I am going to pray for you at Mass today. What better Mass then that of Pentecost to ask the Spirit to come down and bless you and enlighten you. God bless.

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary,
that never was it known,
that anyone who fled to your protection,
implored your help, or sought your intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence,
though burdened by my sins,
I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To you I come, before you I stand,
sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions, but in your mercy,
hear and answer me.
Amen.

Guess what, everyone? I got a call yesterday about setting up an interview at a doctor’s office (I’ve mainly been applying for medical secretary positions - that’s what my training is in). I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much (been disappointed so much lately) but I’m praying that God will lead me to the best position for me. He knows better than I do!

Thank you to EVERYONE who posted in this thread and prayed with me. :o
