Please pray for me…

I will be talking to my fiance about some things that have been weighing on my mind, birth control, pre-marital sex,etc. Please pray for me that he will be understanding and supportive and that God will give me the rights words to say when I talk to him.

I’m constantly in a state of mortal sin and I really can’t take it anymore!
 
Thank you, Lord, for working your great wonders in LaFleurDeLis! Grant her the right words to speak to her fiance and help him to be open and receptive to what she is saying. Please keep LaFleurDeLis close to Your Sacred Heart and do not let her leave Your side. Grant her strength, peace, courage and patience, and the purest heart, mind and soul. Mother Mary, I recommend this good woman to you. Please intercede for her and help her to be a saint. Amen.

I will pray. Stand strong in your faith and what you know the Holy Spirit is directing you to do.

Thank you for the prayers. I have been delusional thinking I could keep living this way. I know we may struggle,perhaps even fall, but at least then I can go to confession right away. Right now I’m sinning everyday I take that pill. The thought of being thrown in hell if I died right now, absolutely terrifies me…

I’ll be talking to him tomorrow. Please continue praying hard for me.

Lord, I need your help and guidance. I want to be a respectable a good Catholic. I want to sin no more and be in your good graces. Please give me the words to speak and the faith to know that you will guide me in the right direction. Amen:crossrc:

Holy Spirit of God, guide our dear sister to say the right words so that she may stop living in sin and become a true disciple of our Lord. Give her strength, the grace and the right spirit so that she can speak charitably to her fiance and grant him understanding. Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.
 
I want to thank everyone for all their prayers. I spoke with my fiance today about this and explained my concern about taking the pill everyday which puts me in mortal sin every single day. He accepted my decision to not take it anymore! I told him that we’re not perfect and we will stumble along on this road until we are married.

I first began thinking about stopping the pill because of the effects the hormones were having on me. However after a lot of thinking, I had decided to stay on it. The last week or so, I started to visit this site again and realised what a huge disgrace I was doing towards God by taking this pill and the actions that it led to. I feel so uplifted and closer to God.

Now I ask you to pray for my fiance and I to practice chastity. This is going to be so hard. I’m accepting now that we will probably fail, but seeking forgiveness and trying again we will make it to our wedding day.

In Your unfailing love, read the prayer that is written on our hearts, and grant the grace that we ask of You, in accordance with Your holy will. In Your name we pray. Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, and sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother, to thee I come, before thee I stand sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate!
