I have started having panic attacks and doubts in my faith. I have started worrying that there is no God or afterlife. I went through a period like this after I gave birth to my twins, 6 years ago. I thought I was over it, but recently became very sick with the flu and my obsessive thoughts and worries came back. Please pray for me that I will find faith and comfort.
 
Hi Ash, if it was after your pregnancy that you felt like this it may have been postpartum depression. Anyways, I pray the Lord’s blessing upon you, may he make your faith steadfast and sure as when Thomas doubted Him he did not condemn but said touch my side, feel my wounds, so that you may believe! The Lord has so much mercy and compassion on us, even when doubtful He loves you more than ever! God bless.

Jesus our Lord, I trust in you, and place this person’s intentions in your most sacred heart. Please grant AshJade the comfort of your love, healing and inner peace as well as strength and courage

:signofcross: Heavenly Father, we pray for AshJade; we know that the enemy wants doubt and unbelief in our lives and we come against him in the Name of Jesus Christ and assert that Ashley is a child of God; she has received Jesus in the Eucharist and other Sacraments; surround her with Your Holy Spirit and give her perfect and complete peace!!! :amen:

A good book to read about the afterlife is a neurosurgeon’s near death experience where he actually visited heaven and came back to our world. The book is called “Proof of Heaven”, by a doctor who was basically an atheist all his life and then became a believer.
