I have not been as focused on God as I used to be. I used to be really scrupulous. I’m not really anymore. I struggle with my ego, especially with my parents. I have a hard time enduring sufferings. I unfortunately witness myself fighting back rather than offering the suffering to Christ.

Lord, please touch Johnny with many graces for faith, hope, love, and joy. As a healing balm quells pain and affliction, serve this soul the medicine of love with the help of ministering angels. Help Johnny bear his crosses, just as you had the help of Simon help you with your cross. Lead this soul as a shining light of your grace and power. Spare a foretaste of heaven’s light into the dark temptations and forces that permeate this fallen world. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

I wonder if now that you are not struggling with scruples that the devil is saying to you that you are not as focused on God. Being able to live a life without being overly scrupulous is a good thing! Maybe you could talk to a priest or your confessor about this issue.

We all struggle with ego from time to time and you have my prayers that you are more able to offer up your suffering to Christ rather than fight back. Not always an easy road and I struggle myself with this.

God bless you,
Mary.

Maybe God is telling you to have 'faith ’ in His love ,as scrupulosity is a lack of ‘faith’ in a Loving God . It mans you don’t trust Him .did He chose perfect people to follow Him ?

Did He abandon them when they abandoned Him ? If we are unforgiving or lacking in love, we sometimes think God is the same .He is not .He gives us time to learn and grow ,and eventually to chose . Without some 'ego ’ we could not exist in the ‘world’,
where we have to enter the fray ,long before we enter ‘heaven’ ;🙂

I don’t even know what to say, Blessed Lord;
I am so confused. I am caught in the midst
of a violent crisis of faith; so uncertain and doubtful. I am going through a difficult time in
what touches the depth of my belief.
I am almost tempted to give in to impatience
and despair. Something within me cries out for You yet You seem not to be there.

I have broken away from many childhood beliefs. I decided to let my faith pass through
the filter of my personal experience. Suddenly, I found myself to far from You, from security
and certainty. If I still turn to You, Blessed Lord,
it is because I have not yet lost the hope of
finding an exit door for my spiritual anguish.
I begin to realize that by myself I will not be
able to overcome life’s ambiguities and contradictions. I know the mystery of You
continues, and that my faith-existence is a challenge to be embraced. The light of Your
occasional shadowy presence makes me see that my crisis comes from the depth of
my maturity, from the depth of my faith.
The irony, Lord; there is a crisis of doubt
only
because there is faith. Perhaps I have become to demanding and to positive. Open my
heart Lord, to the right attitude
when confronted with questions
of my faith.
Amen

Glory be to the Father and
to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit;
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be
World without end.
Amen

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death
Amen.

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in your time of need.

Praying for your intentions.

Our Father who art in heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
Amen.

Holy Michael the Archangel defend us in the day of battle.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host,
by the Power of God,
thrust down to hell satan and all the wicked spirits,
who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen.

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession and was left forsaken. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you I come, before you I stand, a sorrowful sinner. Despise not my words, O Mother of the Word, but in your mercy, hear and answer me.
Amen

Prayer of Surrender:

Lord, Jesus Christ, I ask the grace to accept the sadness in my heart, as your will for me, in this moment. I offer it up, in union with your sufferings, for those who are in the deepest need of your redeeming grace. I surrender myself to your Father’s will and I ask you to help me to move on to the next task that you have set for me.

Spirit of Christ, help me to enter into a deeper union with you.

Lead me away from dwelling on the hurt I feel:
to thoughts of charity for those who need my love,
to thoughts of compassion for those who need my care, and
to thoughts of giving to those who need my help.

As I give myself to you, help me to provide for the salvation of those who come to me in need.
May I find my healing in this giving,
May I always accept God’s will.
May I find my true self by living for others in a spirit of sacrifice and suffering.
May I die more fully to myself, and live more fully in you, As I seek to surrender to the Father’s will, may I come to trust that he will do everything for me.
