It’s been a long time since I asked for prayer on this site. I am completely at the end of my rope. Please pray that God steps in and provides me with a real solution to my needs. I am without hope on my own, and I’ve been searching and praying for a good long time now.

Thank you to all who will answer this request.
 
Prayer to the Holy Spirit for Wisdom

Holy Spirit of light and love, you are the substantial love
of the Father and the Son; hear my prayer.

Bounteous bestower
of most precious gifts,
grant me a strong and living faith
which makes me accept
all revealed truths and shape
my conduct in accord with them.

Give me a most confident hope
in all divine promises
which prompts me to abandon myself
unreservedly to you and your guidance.
Infuse into me a love of perfect goodwill,
and act according to God’s least desires.

Make me love not only my friends
but my enemies as well, in imitation
of Jesus Christ who through you
offered himself on the Cross for all people.

Holy Spirit, animate, inspire, and guide me,
and help me to be always a true follower of you.

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in your time of need.
 
Thanks. I don’t need WISDOM. I don’t need any more fortitude. I need CONCRETE, TANGIBLE solutions.
 
Lord Jesus have mercy.
Save us with your awesome and victorious power.
Help us bring to mind the eternal goodness you hold for us, that it is available in the here and now.

Oh Lord Jesus, there is no trial and no suffering that escapes your merciful gaze. All trials and suffering are transformed for your glory by your Holy Cross.

Lord Jesus, no cross is carried alone, as you are there every step of the way with us. Every step Lord Jesus, no matter how we suffer, you suffer with us in compassion.
Lord Jesus, our blood sweat and tears are shared with you.

Lord Jesus, we pause to say your holy name and contemplate it’s healing power. Your very name makes the devil take flight.

Jesus

Savior of your people.
Jesus, we trust in you completely.
 
Thank you Mary. I have valiantly defied loss of hope, discouragement, further setbacks, despair and the unrelenting failure to solve this issue (even with fervent prayer in which for guidance). It became unthinkable that God would not intercede on my behalf, and I many times almost lost my faith. I kept remembering that it might just not the right time for it all to come together yet. I don’t know. I just am at the end of my hope and efforts now, and I need and greatly appreciate the bible passage where it says that “whenever any two people on earth agree, it shall be done unto them”. Praying for my intentions is so much more Godly than praying that we all remain faithful through our pain, persecution and reversals. (I’m sure that everyone can understand the Wisdom of our doing that for each other).

Thank you Wild Thing. I’m feeling rather bitchy right now, and I apologize to everyone. I also want to point out that the word “my intentions” in my most recent posting is a typo - it should read “our intentions”. I don’t have the scripture reference for this, but I believe that it is around about the “mustard seed” parable.

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular souldancing, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

to know that God’s Love
