I’m newly married and finding married life to be really difficult. My husband works from morning until late at night. I am alone all the time and unemployed. I have no friends and we live in a VERY secular area so I doubt I can find any friends soon. I am also trying to deal with my mental health issues, plus two infections at the moment. The antibiotics aren’t responding and the clinic I go to says they wont take my insurance anymore. Basically, if my antibiotics don’t work Im in big trouble. I woke up crying today because everything seems to be going against me. I pray but I don’t feel Gods presence. I’m completely exhausted in every way. Please, please pray for me.

You know, when we feel God is fear from us is the best time to grow closer to him. Anyway, I am not married, so I can’t help you in that department, but you can be assured of my prayers. Since you have mental health issues, I will invoke the intercession of Saint Dymphna, God bless.

Prayer When Things Seem Hopeless

Jesus, some days my world seems to be spinning out of control. Everywhere I look, I see chaos—even in my own life. There are days where I long to just throw in the towel and say, “Enough.” Where can I turn? Who can I talk to?
You’re the only one I know who will truly listen, Lord. And I know you have the answers. But I can’t seem to find them. I long to see a little clearing in this tunnel. I need a little hope, Jesus. Your Word tells me I can come to you for that hope and that you won’t disappoint, that your load is easy and your burden light.
Give me a new perspective, Lord, and blow away the cobwebs that keep cluttering my mind and my vision. Every time I’m tempted to become discouraged or depressed because of negative events or situations, help me turn my eyes on you. Help me to remember all the times you’ve been there for me, and all the ways you have brought me through difficult times. I forget to thank you sometimes, but I am so grateful for your faithfulness.

I am praying for your intentions. Also praying for the Medical Doctors that might be seen or if needed, in the future. It is nice to have already prayed for the Drs.(Our Lord knows who they are even if not born yet - long, healthy life 😉). Prayer of Apology and Thanksgiving because of human forgetfulness to say “thank You” to Our Lord. . . . 😉 🙂

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into prolifeteenager’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (prolifeteenager), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.
