I have been wanting to convert since I was a child and now I am finally in RCIA and so close to finally being able to receive the sacraments but I have hit a road block. The Easter Vigil this year is on April 15th which is the same day as my developmental psychology exam that exact same night. Of all the times to put the exam the school put it on probably one of the most important days of my life. My school says that I can apply for a deferral but the department decides the rewrite date. I am praying that this all can be arranged so that I can write the exam before I leave for the summer. Prayers are very much appreciated.

I pray that they will realize that what you are asking for a deferral for is far more important than any exam … praying for you … God Bless you on your path …

Praying for your intentions. Please note that you don’t have to be baptized/confirmed on Easter. You can do it any time, it’s just common for RCIA candidates to be baptized/confirmed on Easter. If the school won’t budge, you might speak with your RCIA director about scheduling a different time for your baptism/confirmation.
