Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner.

I am going through a rough patch in my life and need prayers and support. I was recently hospitalized due to an illness and became unemployed.
 
**Divine Healer **

Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick,
we turn to You in this time of illness. O dearest
comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and
sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant us the
grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God,
we place our worries in your hands. We place our
sick under your care and humbly ask that You restore
Your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace
to acknowledge Your will and know that whatever
You do, You do for the love of us. Amen.

Prayer to St. Anthony for Employment

Blessed St. Anthony, who in life was ever mindful
of the needs of the afflicted, consuming himself
in the service of God and for the good of souls,
who was the enemy of idleness and a tireless worker
in the vineyard of the Lord, beseech God to grant
kohai a suitable job, which may procure a decent
livelihood, and be at the same time a means
of personal sanctification and of real service to others.
We ask this through Jesus Christ Our Lord, amen.

Inspire our physicians with your professionalism and with the divine compassion for their patients. Enable them to cure the ills of both body and spirit that afflict so many in our day.

Dear Father,

I pray for Kohai. May your Holy Spirit touch this person and to help this person through difficult times. Give this person strength, so that they can praise and worship You.
Grant this, oh Lord, through Your one and only precious Son, the Lord Jesus Christ who lives and reigns with you for ever and ever and with the Holy Spirit . Amen.
 
Praying that you may be given strength to cope with these tough times in your life and that soon employment will be available that suits your skills and needs.

Dear Jesus, Please have mercy on kohai and help them through their difficulty. Please restore their health and help them to find a good job again. Keep kohai from despair and anxiety during this difficult time and give kohai the grace of confidence in You. Jesus, King of Mercy, I trust in you to help here. In Jesus’ Name I humbly ask this. Amen.

Remember, O Most Gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, o Virgin of Virgins, My Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, Despite not my petition for kohai’s health, employment and confidence, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
