Please pray for Melody who is in the hospital and may be dying

Hey everyone. My dad who is divorced has a longtime girlfriend whose sister, Melody, is in the hospital and may very well be dying. I just found out earlier when I called my dad to see how he is doing. He told me she has been in the hospital for 4 days and has been on life support. She had been having trouble breathing and chest pain for a few days and then finally they got her into the hospital. Apparently she had a tube in her throat to help her breathe. Yesterday they tried to get her to be able to breathe with just an oxygen mask but it didn’t help. Instead she got worse and started running a high fever so they had to put the tube back in her throat. Melody is only in her upper forties or lower fifties I believe. I have always been somewhat close to her and I am very sad to hear about this news. My dad thinks they will give her another day and if she isn’t improving any then they will suggest to her husband to take her off life support. Please pray for Melody that she would be healed or if she is dying then please pray for her that she would die a peaceful and holy death.

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Melody’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Praying for Melody, for her medical people (doctors, nurses, etc.), her husband, you, and all who love her. Prayer of apology and thanksgiving . . . the thread could be closed if only a couple of people post on it and I want to get the “thank You” in.

Your Divinity, Lord, did not require any human doctorates.

Be it from physical or spiritual suffering,

Please guide the human doctors who care for Melody;
Give the needed graces to the family;
Keep Melody’s body and soul vigorous
So that she may fulfill her daily duties.

Thank you everyone for praying for her. I was always somewhat close to Melody. She is a very sweet lady. She is a Christian although she is not a Catholic. I am hoping she will pull through.
