who has been diagnosed with bone cancer in his shoulder and hips. This is devastating news for our family but we are hoping for the best. Prayers would be greatly appreciated.

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you.

For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.

Lord, I’m sorry Mickey had to get cancer, but I know you ordain everything to work out best for those who love you and do your will. May Mickey keep loving you and doing your will and get healed of the cancer and grow even closer to you and more dependant on you through this trial. Grant him the best of care and a remission of the cancer. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.

We lift up our intentions for Mickey in the hope that your divine mercy and blessings can be with him during this time of illness, pain, suffering, and anxiety. We ask for healing for Mickey in accordance with your Holy and perfect will, and for the presence of your comforting and consoling Holy Spirit to be with Mickey and his friends and family members to strengthen all for the trials ahead. Lord, we know you love each of your children and want only the best for us. Please help Mickey, Rocket, and the family to maintain courage, strong faith, and trust in your divine providence.

Rocket may Mickey’s spirit continue to stay strong and may he always have the strength to fight the good fight, also for you and the rest of your family, it is also very hard on you all having to come to terms with your brothers illness may God always be with you all . I will keep you all in my prayers. God Bless you all.

I had some encouraging news last Friday night when I was at a football game. The guy I sat next to told me he had a friend who had bone cancer in his shoulder also and has lived 15 years with it due to radiation treatments. I passed this along to Mickey to encourage him and to ask his doctor about it.
