a good friend of mine who is having 6 inches of intestine removed tomorrow. Mike and his wife are two of the best Catholics I know. They have taken in many foster children over the years, worked as marriage counselors and Mike is a big brother to an inner city boy who has no father. They have a very strong, loving, Christian family.

Heavenly Father, please assist Mike B with his surgery and his health. Please heal him, and may your will be done in his life.

Update: Heard from Mike’s wife last night and he is doing well and hopes to go home today. Again, thanks for your prayers.
