Please Pray for my 4yo Nephew

Please keep my nephew, Eric, in your prayers.

My sister had to take him to the emergency room at Children’s Hospital last night and I haven’t heard anything since 3am:confused: :(. I’ve been calling but haven’t been able to reach her, I’m really worried and upset cause she hasn’t called me to let me know what’s going on:shrug:.

All I know is he had a fever spike twice yesterday and he has neck pain, swollen glands, sore throat and swollen tonsils. Not sure if he had anymore symptoms that’s all she quickly mentioned.

Please keep him in your prayers, that it not be anything serious and that he feels better soon, thanks everyone:gopray2: :signofcross:.
 
That is scary Lexee, I hope you hear something soon. It can get really busy when you are at the hospital with your child.

Thanks everyone for your prayers, and boy do we still need them.

I finally heard from my sister and she told me he has a lymph node infection:(, the problem is they can’t figure out what caused it:confused:.

They took a bunch of Eric’s blood and they gave him iv fluid, he was so scared and cried a lot…poor baby:(. All the tests they ran came back negative, so they sent them home with some antibiotics and some anti-inflammatory medication. They told her to control his fevers with Tylenol and to take him to his doctor tomorrow. If he got worse then they were to take him back to the emergency room at Children’s Hospital.

We’re really worried since we don’t know what kind of infection is causing the problem…the doctor said he was also going to test the blood for leukemia:eek: :(, apparently cancer cells can cause the lymph nodes to swell and become infected.

I’m so scared that it could be that, I don’t know what we’ll do. Please, please pray that it’s nothing serious and that he gets well soon…please:( .
 
Well the tests were back and the doctor said Eric does not have leukemia:extrahappy: :gopray2:, praise God. Turns out he had a sore on his tonsil that got infected, that in turn infected his lymph nodes and that caused him to have Acute Torticollis:(, poor baby, no wonder he was in so much pain.

I’m glad it wasn’t anything terribly serious, and I’m glad he’s feeling better.🙂

Praise God!! I am so glad it was not something more serious…Prayers for Eric’s continued recovery…
