From someone who “really” understands what you are going through, try these…
First, go to a quiet place and pray to the Lord…" Father I regret all the times, that I have offended You, From the deepest of my heart, I beg for your forgiveness, because You are my Loving Father and I am sorry for all the times that I have offended You."
Second, thank the Lord your Father, for His Great Love and Eternal Mercy. Do a thanksgiving prayer and count out loud, all of your blessings.
Third, repeat to yourself…“All that happens to me, good or bad, it is because the Holy Will of the Lord allows it, and it is always for a greater good, that at the moment I cannot see. But the Lord my Father is always there with me, holding me through it all.”
Last but not least, do not be quick to anger, frustration or self critisize or self pity, for all these things contribute to trigger anxiety. When one of these creeps up, tell yourself…" All that happens to me, it does because the Lord allows it, by the power of His Holy Will and a greater purpose that I cannot see right now." Enjoy knowing that God is always “over there”, you know, that future place that we get anxious about! Don’t worry, God is already over there ready to care for you.
