Please pray for my bridge building toward daughter

Prayers answered sometimes need more prayers. My estranged daughter reached out to me! In doing so, she also opened up regarding her pain and questions to me regarding my part in the divorce from her mother, that she suffered through, as well. The negative emotions of those years and how to answer her, without directly addressing the malice of false witness, which added to her pain, overwhelm my need to return to sleep.

Please pray with me and ask the Holy Spirit to provide the words and understanding she needs from me. Also, loving Mary and Joseph, I ask your intercession, dear earthly parents of our Lord, to bring healing, peace and joy to this one I love deeply.

Thank you Lord for prayers answered and the courage to persevere in following Your path. May we find rest in You and In the prayers of Your family.

What to say and what not to say…

Holy Spirit, the Embodiment of Love between Father and Son, I rehearse in sleepless late night periods on what to say to my daughter and what details to provide and even prove! Would I find justification for my earthly case by proving guilt charges toward the one who persecutes me? Does this answer Your call to love all, even those once close, one now turned Into a malevolently active enemy?

What about my sinfulness, Love’s Essence? I, too, am steeped in sin. I do not measure up to Your laws, Lord, set to guide human flourishing. I can only count upon Your lavish forgiveness for which I seek and find comfort.

If I would count upon Your ultimate Love, my Lord, Holy Trinity, and Your forgiveness, it does not seem justified to point to another’s guilt in my defense. Into Your hands, I commend my spirit again - in this life and after. Amen.

O Blessed Archangel Gabriel, we beseech thee, do thou intercede for us at the throne of divine Mercy in our present necessities, that as thou didst announce to Mary the mystery of the Incarnation, so through thy prayers and patronage in heaven we may obtain the benefits of the same, and sing the praise of God forever in the land of the living.
