Please pray for my broken marriage. My husband left a little over 5 weeks ago and has a hardened heart toward me and wishes to no longer be married due to petty arguments. He will not speak to or see me and I pray he turns to our lord for guidance.

Does anyone have any suggestions on which prayers or saints to ask for intersession? Any and all prayers are appreciated.
 
St. Rita is the patron saint of troubled marriages and also of impossible cases. She’d be a great one to ask for intercession. Praying for you through St. Marcellin as it is his feast day today…

St. Marcellin Champagant, you felt a personal call by God to found a religious community of Brothers that would bring the message of Jesus’ love to neglected young people. Your memories of the school teacher who beat the students, and your own recollections of academic struggles were the basis of your educational philosophy: “to educate children you must love them and love them all equally.” You started the Marist brothers after discerning God’s will for your life. On this your feast day into eternal life, may you take these intentions into your heart and present them to Jesus and Mary with your noted fervor and charity. May we also strive to follow God’s will in our own lives and thus know the inner peace and contentment that comes to those who seek the Kingdom above all things. We ask this in Jesus’s Name. Amen.

Prayer for a Troubled Marriage

O St. Rita,
Make us understand that a vocation is not only
a matter of attraction.

Enable us to see clearly that it is also a matter of finding,
in ordinary events, God’s will for us and then accepting it
even if it seems to be baffling and contrary to our wishes.

Teach those called to the marriage state by the Lord
to reflect deeply on the delicate choice
that will influence their destiny.

Let them not be deceived by their feelings; instead,
let them look for the solid qualities that keep a home
united in the joy of the Lord.

Teach unhappy spouses the power of patience and
mildness. Let them not give way to discouragement but,
like you, let them save both the happiness of their home
and the soul of their spouse.

St. Rita and St. Joseph are very good patron saints for your married life. I just had a candle lit for my daughters and my mil at the shrine of St. Rita in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania this past week.

A novena to St. Joseph is excellent for many trials in lifeewtn.com/devotionals/novena/joseph.htm, and St. Rita understood difficult husbands.
Ask your Guardian Angel to speak with your husband’s guardian angel. It might help.

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Prayer Brings Miracles

Next to the “Our Father Which Art in Heaven” prayer, this is one of the Best prayers
I think I have ever read.

Bl. Anna Marie Taigi, you were favored with many wonderful and mysterious mystical experiences, but it was your charity to lost and hurting souls that enabled God to raise you to holiness. As you lived in the secular world, married with seven children and were tempted to fine clothes and idle gossip, you know the struggles many of us face in our society today, where we have comforts kings in past times could only dream of. Please help us to keep our eyes on heaven, that we may not be so distracted with things of this passing world, but strive to do God’s will for our lives, and thus attain a crown which will never perish.

Blessed Anna Marie Taigi, I ask you to take to your heart all those prayers and petitions which have been posted here in this forum today.
