Please pray for my brother

My brother has become very rude and disrespectful toward our parents. He frequently uses awful language with them when they won’t let him use their car (he’s in college and doesn’t have his own), and insists on being argumentative with them when told he can’t do something.

I ask you to pray for his conversion. Pax Christi.
 
Lord Jesus Christ, most merciful Savior of the world, we humbly beseech You, by Your most Sacred Heart, that all the sheep who stray out of Your fold may in one days be converted to You, the Shepherd and Bishop of their souls, who lives and reigns with God the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, world without end.

You have my prayers. But also a suggestion. Your brother seems very misunderstood. Your parents and you need to sit with him and listen to “HIS” needs. Everyone has needs and we all need to be prepared to listen to them irregardless how different they are from yours.
 
Oh Father you know this is a trial for all parents including me, I ask that you warm this teenager’s heart and give him the knowledge and truth as to your very words. Help him to seek you and I ask all the angels and saints to surround this young man that he may bevome more like you.

God almight I pray always with a sincere heart…let him pray also for your help and seek your will. Guide his parents as they struggle deep in thier hearts with this young man. Help them to continue to seek peace.

2200 "Observing the fourth commandment brings its reward: "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the LORD your God gives you.“8 Respecting this commandment provides, along with spiritual fruits, temporal fruits of peace and prosperity. Conversely, failure to observe it brings great harm to communities and to individuals.”

Our God, please help this young man to willingly obey this commandment with love and respect, and please help his family to best deal with his difficult behaviour, protecting this family from harm and sorrow.

Dear God, in all our relationships let our love be unconditional. May we seek others’ true good, and affirm each other’s unique preciousness. Even where we cannot detect Your presence in another, grant us faith in Your creative love for them. Grant us serenity and blessing for each other in our trials and in our joys.
