I am new to this site, but I am going through a very rough time with my brother who is an addict and he is only 28. We are trying to get him help, but he refuses I am so afraid I am going to get a call that he has died and I dread that…I have been praying that GOD will help him see the light. I am all broken up over this and so is my mom and dad and I feel sick to my stomach I dont want to lose him and i do not know what to do…I wish I can force him to go. 😦 Please pray for him and my family! thanks so much.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

O holy protectress of those who are in utmost need, shining as a star of hope in the midst of darkness, in patience and fortitude as the patriarch Job, scourge of devils, health of the sick, deliverer of those in extreme need, admiration of saints and model of all states! With confident trust, and firmly united to the adorable will of our God, through the merits of my only Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and in particular of that painful crown of thorns which with a tender devotion thou didst daily contemplate; through the merits of the most sweet Virgin Mary and thine own excellent graces and virtues, I implore thee with my whole heart and soul, to obtain my earnest petition, provided it be for the greater glory of God and our salvation bless this child that is afflicted with addiction and his family that suffers with him and fears for him. Strengthen them in their hour of need; turn their hearts to God and be uplifted by the Holy Spirit.

Guide and purify their intentions, O holy protectress and most dear advocate, that they may obtain the pardon of all their sins and the grace to persevere daily, as thou didst, in walking with courage and generosity and unwavering fidelity upon the heavenward path on which the love of our sweet Lord desires to lead them. Amen.

Pater noster, qui es in cælis,
Father our, Who are in Heaven,

sanctificetur nomen tuum:
may be sanctified name Your:

Adveniat regnum tuum:
May come reign Your:

Fiat voluntas tua sicut in cælo,
may be done will Your just as in heaven,

et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum
and on earth. Bread our daily

da nobis hodie:
give to us today:

Et dimitte nobis debita nostra,
And forgive us debts our,

sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.
just as we forgive debtors our.

Et ne nos inducas in tentationem.
And do not us lead into temptation.

Sed libera nos a malo. Amen.
But free us from evil. Amen.

Praying for your brother to get some help to overcome his addiction …
