Please pray for my chastity. I’ve been struggling with it a lot lately–way too much considering how careful I am, but then an MRI scan (which was done because of a suspected tumor) did reveal that my pituitary gland is a little too large on one side so maybe that’s why I struggle so much. I was chaste 100% of the time for quite a while, but with the reductions being made with my medication (for an unrelated reason,) it has been getting harder and harder to remain chaste to the point where I go to Confession on average 2-3 times per week. (It’s all an internal problem, just so you know.)

Dear Lord, please give aid to ChibiViolet in his/her struggle with impurity and give him/her the grace to continue to strive toward chastity. Also, if it’s according to Your will, help heal ChibiViolet’s enlarged pituitary gland, which might be the cause of him/her struggling with impurity. We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Jesus, Lover of chastity,
Mary, Mother most pure,
and Joseph, chaste guardian of the Virgin,
to you I come at this hour,
begging you to plead with God for me.
I earnestly wish to be pure in thought,
word and deed in imitation of your own holy purity.

Obtain for me, then,
a deep sense of modesty
which will be reflected in my external conduct.
Protect my eyes, the windows of my soul,
from anything that might dim the luster of a heart
that must mirror only Christlike purity.
