Please pray for my cousin Susan

My cousin Susan 57 has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Neither chemo, radiation or immunotherapy has worked. At this point she cannot even keep a sip of water down. Though a medical care company has just started to come in (she is at home) to keep her hydrated her doctor doesn’t give her much longer to live. At this point she doesn’t yet want hospice. Once a Catholic, Susan is now a non-denominational Christian. My heart breaks for her but especially because she will not be receiving last rites.
I say the Divine Mercy chaplet for her every day, picturing myself kneeling by her bed, holding her hand while I pray as she wants no visitors.

I will certainly pray for you, your son and your spouse. I am no stranger to spousal abuse especially when there is a crisis already. Through experience I know that it can leave you feeling hopeless at times. When you feel alone please take a moment to meditate on Jesus’ words “I will never forsake you.” Though we may not feel His presence He is there.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Susan ). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Susan 's body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer to St. Anthony for Those With Cancer

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for Susan , who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. May God give him the fullness of life here on earth. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
