No need to go into the details- just please pray for his salvation and for his wife and son who are suffering because of his choices.
He isn’t a Catholic, yet.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

You, your son, and his family will be in my prayers.***
May Bl. Matt Talbot intercede for his conversion and healing.
I pray our Blessed Mother Mary, and St Monica will comfort and sustain you.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen

I have weathered the evil of addiction with my son who also is married with a child. Be assured of my prayers for him, for them and for you. I prayed Novenas to St. Rita, St. Monica and St. Jude. He is now clean and working and doing SO much better. Trust in God and give it to Him totally! God bless you.

Bless you all for your prayers. My son called me and is coming over tomorrow. Please keep praying…thank you!

I will pray for your family. If you haven’t already seen it there’s a TV show on A&E called intervention that might be a resource for you I think they have a page dedicated to it on their web site as well.

Thank you for your prayers. He has been to rehab 3 times. After the last time he has been clean for several months at a time, but has relapses that last for a week or 2. I’m afraid nothing will really help until he turns to God…

God hears a mothers prayers and he sees her tears! Keep praying and we will join you! God can heal him! He is in my prayers as is all of his family.
God Bless,
Pam

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that
anyone who fled to your protection,
implored your help
or sought your intercession
was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto you,
O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To you do I come,
before you I kneel,
sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in your clemency hear and answer them. Amen.

you’re welcome. I’ve seen on the show where they were successful even with people who had been to treatment more than once so don’t give up hope perhaps he can find a faith-based treatment program since the others have not worked for him. I’m continuing to pray for your family

Nannygirl:

I am praying so hard for you and your precious son. I am praying especially to the Blessed Mother who knows the pain of mothers who watch their children hurting. God can do anything. He is much stronger than drugs. I am having faith for you and your son. God bless you both.

All of your prayers have lifted me up out of the despair I have been feeling. I can’t thank all of you enough and I pray that God will bless you for blessing us. My son spent the afternoon with me today and he was straight! Of course, we have been down this road before and I always hope it will last. It’s like being on a roller coaster though. Thanks for your continued prayers…

Praying for you and your son. Have prayed to Our Lady of Sorrows.

God bless.

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Almighty Father, let your light soak deeply into our minds.
Stepping forward in the light of your commandments,
may we follow you always, our leader and our guide.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.
Amen.
