Please pray for my Dad who had a heart attack today

Thank you all so much for your prayers.

During the process of assessing the damage to the heart, it was discovered that dad has stage III lung cancer. I am a long distance POA. They are in Virginia, I am north of Atlanta. Every day I talk to siblings, the lawyer, [who is just as much a hindrance as a help.] and others. We are frantically looking for a facility to put them both in, that will provide the care they need, an environment that they like, at a level they can afford. Right now, home health care is costing three thousand dollars a week.

I am so depressed. Just when my prayers are needed the most, I fall into mortal sin. All of this feels so surreal. I hope my car holds up for the batch of trips that lay ahead.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into 2 Towers Dad’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
